The Tavern on Clark is amazing! My daughter and I were traveling from out of town and were recommended this place! The manager went out of his way to accommodate us and find us a table. They were so busy. We didn’t have a reservation. But he was so kind and helpful, working out a way for us to have a wonderful dinner! Our server was so efficient. Last night we came to dinner with friends from out of town . We all have never been there before . From the host to the server to the food EVERYTHING WAS SO WONDERFUL!!!! We went out for our birthdays and usually we go to another restaurant but wanted to try something new . I can’t tell you enough how much that experience was . We will definitely be back in the future.
I got the lemon martini, it is STRONG!
For my entree I did the tavern steak with extra Demi sauce and it was perfectly cooked.
For dessert I got the chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream for an additional $4. The cake is very rich so the ice cream balanced it out.
