“We reached out to the owner Paul Sletten and team to support a last minute private party at our house, as we had experienced his excellent food first hand from his Abreo restaurant over the years. His catering manager, Elliott, promptly responded with an email explaining their wide range of creative options and costs. We selected our desired dishes and several days later we we met Elliott from his team as he delivered and set up the food with minimal direction. “I stopped by Whiskey Roadhouse after reading reviews that they had a good breakfast buffet. They do. It's Sunday 10-2p and it's very good food for a very reasonable price. The staff work very hard cooking and stocking the buffet with quality food but it's hard to keep up at times when a large group of hungry folk descend on the buffet at the same time, so be patient. Food will be out shortly and it's worth the wait. Very friendly place. If there is something that you need, just ask and they'll get it for you.“

“We take an annual men's golf trip and this year we chose Eagle Ridge in Galena. On the way we stopped at Aldeen CC in Rockford. The course was absolutely fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable to play. The value was incredible as well. I was not unhappy with the amount I payed to play with a riding cart.

The one complaint I have is that the driving range did not open until 11am. Our tee time was at 11am so we did not have the ability to warm up properly apart from hitting some putts on the practice green. I personally do not like not being able to warm up hitting full shots. This is the only reason I did not give Aldeen 5 stars. If the range would have been open it would be a 5 star review no questions asked!“

“Found this lil restaurant by accident, and we were so fortunate!!! The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing. We asked our server Yasmine what she recommended and we followed her advice. I had the “Chicago Sandwich (i think)” while my wife had the Lasagna. Both were over the top great and highly recommend these to anyone, side note- she was super friendly and excellent in service.“

“Just had drinks and loved watching bartender Ed make some fun drinks. Ed was really informative and fun to talk with. Thought pricing on drinks was great. Had a very nice quality rum that was just $10. Loved the atmosphere and the light scent of smoke in the air.“

I came here to get the massive 20oz pork tenderloin and it did not disappoint me. It tasted good, it was cooked well, and had a nice ratio of breading to meat. The table next to us ordered burgers (I'm not sure which ones) but they looked really good as well.

I'd like to know what buns they use for the Big Porker tenderloin, because it was really really good.

My only complaint is the lighting and seating inside of the restaurant -- none of the tables were very large and it was dark inside, and the bathroom -- which was missing common things like urinal partitions and a mirror.“

“The food here is very good. They have a good selection of food. It's a nice place to go eat with your family and the seating area is clean. I had their quilaquiles with sunnyside eggs and with steak. It was delicious. I also had their birria quesadillas and those were amazing as well. Great food and great service.“

We visited prior to regular dinner time on a wed afternoon.
Our server was very friendly and we were taken care of promptly.
The food was good! And very reasonably priced .
