“My wife went to Lydia's Cafe for breakfast after our get away weekend and it was delicious! Small place so you get the home-cooked meal and our breakfast was great. I had the Loco Moco special with breakfast rice, ham, bacon, red peppers and onions topped with sausage gravy and over medium eggs. My wife had the Rockford omelet and it was cooked perfectly! “Aldeen Golf Club is easily the best value in IL. $60 with cart for the weekend rate is absolutely fantastic for a course of this quality. They have 5 tees ranging from 7,135 to 5,075. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are kept in immaculate condition. The greens are fast but very consistent. The driving range is real grass which is a huge bonus. Marshalls frequently circle the course so the pace is great. I can't say enough good things about this course.“

I honestly have come here for years and have never gotten anything other than the gyros, because why mess with perfection. Pro tip: get the sauce on the side so you can control how much is on there. Sometimes they go really hard and it's a little too much (for me).“
