“My family and I recently moved to Loves Park. We've heard from everyone that we needed to check out Spring Garden Family Restaurant. It was 1000% worth it. Their prices are incredibly reasonable, food comes in large portions, staff has outstanding customer service, the food tastes great, and restaurant was very clean. We will definitely be back again and again. I had the countryfried steak dinner and I absolutely loved it. The caramel pie ice cream was the stuff dreams are made of lol.“

“We reached out to the owner Paul Sletten and team to support a last minute private party at our house, as we had experienced his excellent food first hand from his Abreo restaurant over the years. His catering manager, Elliott, promptly responded with an email explaining their wide range of creative options and costs. We selected our desired dishes and several days later we we met Elliott from his team as he delivered and set up the food with minimal direction. “The Tavern on Clark is amazing! My daughter and I were traveling from out of town and were recommended this place! The manager went out of his way to accommodate us and find us a table. They were so busy. We didn’t have a reservation. But he was so kind and helpful, working out a way for us to have a wonderful dinner! Our server was so efficient. The food was as delicious as we were hoping! Literally my daughter’s burger was HUGE! The potato fries were cooked to perfection. I had a BBQ chicken salad that was so fresh and tasted amazing! We come to Rockford for soccer a few times a year. We will be back for sure!“

“Excellent and helpful staff. Friday fish is one of the best in the area. My mom loves the Walleye and Blue Gill. And she is picky about her fish. My sister is not a fan of fish so she gets the chicken sandwich and says it is one of the best she has ever had.“

“I stopped by Whiskey Roadhouse after reading reviews that they had a good breakfast buffet. They do. It's Sunday 10-2p and it's very good food for a very reasonable price. The staff work very hard cooking and stocking the buffet with quality food but it's hard to keep up at times when a large group of hungry folk descend on the buffet at the same time, so be patient. Food will be out shortly and it's worth the wait. Very friendly place. If there is something that you need, just ask and they'll get it for you.“

“We take an annual men's golf trip and this year we chose Eagle Ridge in Galena. On the way we stopped at Aldeen CC in Rockford. The course was absolutely fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable to play. The value was incredible as well. I was not unhappy with the amount I payed to play with a riding cart.

The one complaint I have is that the driving range did not open until 11am. Our tee time was at 11am so we did not have the ability to warm up properly apart from hitting some putts on the practice green. I personally do not like not being able to warm up hitting full shots. This is the only reason I did not give Aldeen 5 stars. If the range would have been open it would be a 5 star review no questions asked!“

I had the “Chicago Sandwich (i think)” while my wife had the Lasagna. Both were over the top great and highly recommend these to anyone, side note- she was super friendly and excellent in service.“

I came here to get the massive 20oz pork tenderloin and it did not disappoint me. It tasted good, it was cooked well, and had a nice ratio of breading to meat. The table next to us ordered burgers (I'm not sure which ones) but they looked really good as well.

I'd like to know what buns they use for the Big Porker tenderloin, because it was really really good.

My only complaint is the lighting and seating inside of the restaurant -- none of the tables were very large and it was dark inside, and the bathroom -- which was missing common things like urinal partitions and a mirror.“
