“I was so impressed with Benjamin. He was the only employee on duty and other staff person failed to show up for work. But that didn’t stop Benjamin from serving each person with attention and calmness as each order was requested. After about 20 minutes, I asked if he was the only person on staff, he responded yes. He constantly addressed the line saying thank you and I’ll be with you shortly.Several things impressed me about this young man (he appeared he was in high school age):1. He saw people come in and wait for a few minutes then abruptly leave but he remained focused on the order and customer he had before him2. A man who came into the store begging the patrons for money, Benjamin kindly ask the man to leave. The man began to challenged Benjamin’s request. Benjamin maintained his request and again kindly ask the man to leave via instructions from his manager (who wasn’t there either). Another customer quickly stepped in and asked the man what he wanted to eat and drink (of course we were approached by the same man early and he declined the purchase of food instead he wanted money), he purchased food and drink for him with understanding he would leave the premises. As the man waited for his food, he spoke aggressively to Benjamin. I’m not sure what he said but Benjamin’s response was that he was following the directive of his manager. Finally the man left with his sandwich and drink in hand.Though Benjamin is young, he handled himself as a mature professional man! I applaud his commitment to his employer, the customers and his work ethic! I’m sure Subway is ONLY paying this SUPERIOR employee minimum wage (shame on them)! Not only should he receive a significant pay increase but also a big bonus!!! He not only represented Subway magnificently but serious kudos to his parents for raising an ethical upstanding young man.BTW, I had #12 and it was fantastic!!!!“
“This was my 1st time at this location. I ordered online for the BOGO special with curbside pickup. They came to the car about 5 minutes after the ready time, and the app showed my order was ready. No biggie. My order was made perfect, with the condiments I had to add in the comment section. However, the meat portion was extremely skimpy.
I will order the extra meat next time, with the same order to compare.“
