La Playita Mexican Restaurant Bar & Grill

Jerry the owner was phenomenal! Our server Cecila was great! She brought us everything we wanted or needed. The food was fresh and delicious 😋 Everything was excellent, the prices are very reasonable and the margaritas were exceptional! I will definitely be returning to try different menu items. I ordered the combination platter. The service was excellent and you can taste that the food was made with love.

La Playita is my favorite Mexican restaurant! The queso fundido is an amazing appetizer and their salsa tastes fresh and delcious. I had the carne asada lunch special and the steak was cooked to perfection and was very tender. The chicken and steak fajitas come out sizzling hot and are mouth watering! The lunch service was impeccable and our server was very attentive. Come here for a great meal and a delicious cocktail!

The food is delicious we tried many different types of food and meat combinations and all of it was well made. Pastor is amazing and the asada (steak) is tender and flavorful.

All the flavors are there and they have a big variety of salsas at different spice levels.

My mojito was well made and the fresh mint was definitely a great touch. The sangria is delicious.

Highly recommend and I will definitely be coming back!

I ordered food from here and as you can see I included pictures.

I called them once I received my food because I realized they only really gave me one spoonful of guacamole, they only gave me a little squirt of sour cream as you can see just on the top, and they honestly included absolutely zero nacho cheese with my nachos!!

Who does that?

I called them very calmly trying to talk about the order and the lady on the phone just continued to tell me that they only put the ingredients that I select on the app and I have the receipt I'm looking at it explaining to her exactly what I ordered and she's telling me no that I'm wrong. I basically have a container full of chips meat and lettuce and a little bit of jalapenos. They completely made my order wrong and when I explained to them that it was okay that they got it wrong they still continue to tell me that I'm wrong and I am just blown away by the response after I was so kind to the lady on the phone. I went to work all day and I'm tired and I also waited an hour for this food ,which was expensive as it is just for some nachos. To these people it might just be one wrong order but to me I was really looking forward to enjoying my food from a place that I thought I could trust.

I will no longer order from this place, any of its locations.

I really wanted this place to be a 10/10 homerun but unfortunately it was not. Aside from finding a fly in our salsa, the food itself was extremely overpriced by Mexican food standards. 20.00 dollar burrito dinner? Insanity. The kicker? It wasn’t even good. We came for their Tuesday margarita special and let me tell you, that is unfortunately the only reason I’d come back. Maybe I’ll come here next Tuesday for the margs and go to el gallo, el taconazo or Jalisco express for actual reasonably priced, delicious food. 3.5/10

Took my dad here for Father’s Day. Our server gave us a warm welcome and was kind and attentive during our meal - bringing us each cups of homemade Fideo soup to try… and it was lovely! All our dishes were delicious and we ended with the best fried ice cream my dad said he’s had in years. We’ll be back!

Service was great. I think the margaritas were mix from a bottle with no tequila. I think the chicken in my burrito was frozen shredded chicken reheated. It was very mushy with no flavor and prices were on the high side. As far as going back. No thanks.
When a restaurant only has a handful of cars in the parking lot at 6pm on Saturday beware.
