“I be doing doordash n uber eats, I've been getting orders from there for a while, today I decided to order me some food got me the steak jibarito that comes with arroz con gandules and some sauce on the side n let me sayyy it was delicious, I even got me the chicken empanada n I used the sauce from the jibarito on it n omgggg sooo good. I even got a Pina colada n omg heaven. And the service was awesome everyone so nice and also lots of things to look at while u wait they have a lil boutique. Totally recommend will be coming back“
“I am a Puerto Rican muslim who has been searching for a halal Spanish restaurant from NJ, CHI, PR, and Fl and could not find one! Until I stumbled across Sazones. I initially thought this was too good to be true and that I was going to be disappointed, and I was WRONG. Although they did not have my favorite Pollo giusado, their rotisserie chicken, steak, sweet plantains, tostones and my favorite alcapurria made up for it.“
“Let me say you made my Daughters baby shower perfect !Starting from the order to the pickup everything went 100 % perfect , from her warm welcome to the attentive care given on packing the cake for my trip to Nebraska .The fear of Flash freezing the cake to throwing it out everything went perfect. “I haven't had food with such sabor (flavor) in so long that wasn't cooked at home. Not salty at all. Great service. I'm definitely going back. Ordered the yuca rellenas, papa rellenas, Pollo encebollado, and the lechon. We were surprised with toasted French bread with homemade guava butter!!!!!“
“I really liked this restaurant. It was small, but comfortable. Food was excellent. Alcapurias and empanadas were a bit small compared to other restaurants, but reasonably priced. There were quite a few employees at the restaurant. Many just standing around at the counter watching people eat. That makes me a bit uncomfortable, but they were attentative. With the salsa playing it makes for good vibe like we're in Puerto Rico. Location is good close to highways, so not a bad drive out from southwest suburbs. I'll be back this summer!We bought 7 alcapurias to take some home to my kids, empanadas, papa rellenas, kola champagne, bistec encebollado dinner, pastele dinner, and 1/2lb morsilla. With all that food, total was $64. Very reasonable!“
“At last, we've discovered a Puerto Rican eatery that rivals the one we lost on California Ave years ago. This spot comes closest to delivering the delectable jibarito (plantain steak sandwich) I've longed for. The flavors are so rich; you can really detect the sofrito in their dishes. The food is outstanding. The bacalaito (fried cod) reminded me almost exactly of what I enjoyed at the now-closed restaurant, and it was truly scrumptious. A visit wouldn't be complete without the delightful India Malta (specialty malt soda). However, I must note that the restroom had an odor that wafted to our area whenever the door was opened. Nonetheless, it's a fantastic establishment, and we're definitely planning to return.“
“I frequent the la grange area quickly and if I have a taste for Mexican food, you can catch me at Brothers. I get take out 99% of the time, and usually get the burrito or steak dinner. The steak is really great, and all of the other ingredients are fresh. In terms of the size of the burrito, it's average although very flavorful. The only thing I'd wish they do, is to not cut the burrito in half. The torta is delicious, and the rice/beans compliment well. I've never had issues with them getting orders wrong either!I did sit down to eat once, when it was relatively slow(like one other customer in there), and the service was a little slow - had to wait a bit to get a check. All in all, a very solid spot, prices were decent, and the food hit the spot.“
