Breakfast at Happy Cafe! Our breakfast at Happy Cafe wasan enjoyable start to the day, featuring comforting dishes that satisfied our cravings. We opted for the savory Beef Noodle and the flavorful BBQ Pork Cheung Fun. Food: 4/5 The Beef Noodle offered a comforting blend of tender beef and flavorful broth, while the BBQ Pork Rice Cheung Fun provided combination of textures and tastes. Service: 4/5 There is only one lady serving in the restaurant, however, the food came up within a reasonable time. Ambiance:3/5 The ambiance of Happy Cafe is clean, similar to other cafe in china town Price: 4/5 With reasonable prices, our breakfast at Happy Cafe offered great value for the quality and portion sizes of the dishes. ,Happy Cafe is a go-to spot for a comforting morning meal. We look forward to returning for more another breakfast

Very poor service. Ordered four dishes today, but there was no rice. When I went back to ask, the waitress said: You don’t need rice! Never experienced anything like this and will never go there again!

Two people were forced to take an 18% tip when eating without saying anything. It was really annoying and we will not come again! ! !

This is the first time I write a comment for any places. The food is not bad. The server Tian Y is very rude. When I firstly entered the restaurant, she pretended she could not speak chinese even if I have confirmed with her. If she is not very comfortable with speaking chinese, that's fine.I was sitting inside and when she was putting food on the table, she was just silent and standing there, using one dish to push another dish for enough space. The service was not great and I tried to reduce tips, not following custom tips and she requested to have 15% tips. Just for fairness, I requested additional rice. When I made the remaining food to go and had not finished packing, she stood beside me, not moving and silent, and trying to make me stay away to collect empty dish even though there are other sides to take the dish. This is the most terrible experience that I had in a restaurant. Hope the server can save her time and efforts as much as possible by closing the store. I should have checked the comments before walking in.

I still dream about my meal here. So. Freaking. Good. I'm usually a Szechuan fan, but my boyfriend heard from other restaurant chefs that this is their favorite Hunan place. I get the hype. The portions are very large so definitely come with friends so you can try lots of different dishes. The hunan chicken with veggies was my favorite; the red peppers scattered throughout the dish add a lot of flavorful heat. I also loved the tofu with pork - tasted kind of like mapo tofu. You know when other chefs say that this is their fav restaurant that the food will be incredible. Definitely will be coming back again.

Authentic Spicy Chinese food. Good prices. One of best places in Chinatown. Everything has strong flavor and tastes very spicy and good but should avoid the salted beef because is very salty. Don't mind the old/bad bad reviews.Vegetarian options: Buy the green beans, full of flavor.

Wonderful, delicious food! I’ve been eating in the chinatown area for 10+ years and this place got arguably one of the most authentic, tasty Chinese dishes. I highly recommend their spicy fish fillets or the slices of pork with tofu stir fry (unsure about the exact english names because we always order in Chinese but i’m sure anything on the menu tastes great). Tastes homemade and the restaurant is clean. The owner and staff are incredibly kind and are always willing to make accommodations with food allergies, special requests, etc. Highly recommend checking this place out!!
