If you want to bowl downtown this is the least expensive. Our Lane got stuck a few times, but they took care of it for us and allowed us to finish our game about 5 minutes after time was up.

took 20 minutes to be checked in. we wanted three lanes (to accommodate 12 guests) and were told that they cannot do that because they just gave a bunch of lanes away to “VIPs” who did not even have a reservation.

We brought kids to the venue and made a reservation for 2 hours, after a little over an hour a massive group of peoples took over about 4 lanes (which were next to ours) most of them were absolutely inappropriately dressed, and I mean to the point that the kids ask "why are their private parts showing in public?". They decided to start taking our bowling bowls and kept crossing to our line, every time we wanted to bowl there was someone standing on our lane. Not to mention how loud their screaming it was. I'm not sure how many people can be in one lane at the time but this was absolutely way over the amount The place was pleasant until there and needless to say we couldn't finish our time, waste of money, impossible to talk to anyone because they were definitely understaffed. The kids were shocked and we had to spend the rest of the night explaining why we had to leave

I am in town visiting friends and met up with a few who had a hankering to go bowling. I lived here in Chicago for 20 years but only knew of a couple places. This one came up on my Yelp search and open table allowed me to make a reservation for 20 minutes from when I was looking! This spot is right near House of Blues. Not here (as far as I know) when I left in March 2020 before the Covid lockdowns. It's beautiful in here! Walk in the door, up the stairs (or use the elevator if you need to), and go check in. RJ was working the desk when we checked in. Very helpful, friendly and got us situated with our shoes. Everything was clearly explained when we got here. You're on a clock so get started quickly. The balls are so cool, they mimic pool (billiards) balls with weight and color exactly matching lbs and what you'd expect. Holes are drilled super nicely so it's not difficult to find a ball you like to throw. Tori was our server tonight, she was working so hard and I think for the entire place (4:30 PM) they only had two walking all of the lanes. We never wanted anything because she was on top of it, friendly, professional, and super kind. I wasn't drinking alcohol so at one point to avoid asking Tori for refills every five minutes I went to the bar and got a pitcher from Brian. No judgment from him- just a pitcher with cups and straws and off I went back to bowl. Once you type in names and start- it's so easy to just have fun....or just be terrible at bowling. I literally was the worst bowler there for game one. As our time wound down and we were almost finished with game two (one frame to go) we asked for an extension of a couple minutes so we could finish the game. Tori helped us out there and I hope she doesn't get in trouble for that. She could've easily said no, I'd have been disappointed- but instead we finished in less than 4 minutes and got our competition finished. It's not inexpensive to bowl here, but it's in a nice area, the layout is nice, and you can get alcohol and food if you like. There was a big birthday party happening two lanes away so it was good we finished up when we did. Bathrooms were clean and I couldn't have been more pleased with the results of the visit. Support the team here at 10pin! Lots of fun and a great place to get your competitive itch taken care of.

Today we planned a last minute joint mini-birthday party for our six year old and 15 year old. With almost no heads up, 10pin pullled out all the stops to make it happen. The place is impeccable and we all had a blast. We parked on State Street and were just a block away, apparently we could have also parked next door with valet. The pizzas were so big that we had to take one home. The Bartender, Brian with a B, kept delivering pitchers of soda without us even asking for it. We are all spoiled for life!WE ALL LOVED 10 Pin!!!!

we had a really fun time, staff was very nice. However, the place is old and needs a big infusion of money to update it. They had to move us over to a different lane because the equipment kept malfunctioning. There were several times during our game on the new lane that it would just clear all the pins for no reason. we are not serious players, and it was not crazy in there, so we had a good time, the pizza was good. The guy at the desk was very helpful. Bartender was nice also as was the other staff. Seems like they could use more help. all the staff did the best they could, they are not responsible for the lack of investment in maintaining equipment or the interior finishes. again, we had a really fun time but we might try a different place next time.

They moved us to another lane because the lane stopped working. The place wasn’t busy but they kept filling lanes close to each other rather than spreading people apart.

Good place to hangout

We went on a Friday afternoon and it was great! A little dark, but terrific service, great value, good food, and not terribly busy. Respectful folks on the alleys, too! Great time!!
