10 out of 10 across the board!! I loved it here and I'm still thinking about the food! The service was great and so were the drinks. We even got 2 free drinks because the bartender made extra. I ordered the Rasta Pasta with salmon and shrimp and the flavor and spice level was perfect. Super flavorful. I forget the name of the dessert puffs, which were decent, but the Caramel Rum cake was so much better. Super moist and not too sweet. The space is small so I would suggest a reservation, but they also have a full bar with seating for walk-ins. The owner was even walking around and checking on everyone, which is always a green flag at a restaurant for me.

Came here for Sunday brunch and loved the vibes! Bright interior with fun decorations. The brunch menu is pretty small but each item is packed with flavors. I had the jerk catfish with eggs. The jerk seasoning packs a punch and one of my pieces of fish was soooo tender and amazing. The second piece was thinner and more tough/hard to get through. It was served with runny eggs, a potato hashbrown (not very good, tasted like dirty oil), and hearty toast with butter and jelly. My husband had the crab cake eggs Benedict which was served on corn muffins. He enjoyed this and liked how unique it was! And my grandma thoroughly enjoyed the jerk chicken Cesar wrap and noted the jerk flavor had a nice kick. I snuck a few of her French fries which were super crispy and come out piping hot!

The food was decent. I had the wings. Well cooked and well seasoned. I had the Hyde Parker cocktail. It was strong! On par with the better tiki bars in the city. It's their most popular drink and I understand why. Wasn't keen on the atmosphere. We had to wait for a spot at the bar. It's also rather small and really loud. Great for people watching though.

Had the pleasure of attending this highly recommended spot in Hyde Park. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great!! This seems to be a hidden gem in Hyde Park. Only thing I would say that maybe a minus is the size its like dining in a backroom but the table turnover was decent and the kitchen was very productive in getting food out. A must dine joint!

I have heard how wonderful this restaurant is and could not wait to try their food. My coworker and I ordered lunch to celebrate my birthday early. I ordered the jibarito and it came with fries. My coworker ordered the taco platter, and it came with a side. She ordered rice but was given cabbage instead. Although the presentation was awesome, and the cake slice is huge, our entrees were lacking in taste because our meat was dry. My coworker did like the cabbage. I do want to give them another try though. Maybe this time, we will dine in as opposed to carryout. I haven't tried the cake yet, so I will update my review once I do.

The salmon sliders were not what I expected! The salmon lacked flavor and it seems that the Aioli was more flavorful than the salmon itself! Butttttt when them drinks and that Rasta pasta came, babyyyyy they cleared up any attitude or disappointment I even thought about having! Nothing but pure perfection! The ambiance here is very nice and the service was exceptional!

Dined here 4/5/2024 came during the lunch special all I can say is excellent service very nice staff the young lady at the front entrance was very polite as well as the waitress who waited on me the food was delicious i ordered the jerk chicken wrap w fries along w two alcoholic drinks the mermaid bath water is off the chain a must try the 14 parish punch was tasty as well I Give them a 5 out of 5 I will be returning ?

I have been going here for a while and decided to come for brunch. The chicken sausages appeared undercooked. When I asked about it they were dismissive and I was told they came fully precooked… they had never been pink before. Long story short I’ve been sick as a brick for the past 3 days smh. I think that was my last trip.

I've never eaten within the restaurant, but I've ordered from 14 Parish multiple times via UberEats. The food is generally packed with a great presentation, but my favorite item, the jerk catfish is a little pricey for the amount of fish provided. Generally, they provide two catfish steaks, depending on the thickness, the restaurant may be "generous" and add a third catfish steak. My favorite sides to get are the jalapeño macaroni and cheese, the pineapple cilantro rice and the cornbread. I've also tried the cabbage and red beans and rice. I'm not as much of a fan as the cabbage needs more flavor and the red beans and rice doesn't have a gravy consistency. For appetizers, my go to are the Mango Habañero Chicken Wings and the Honey Jerk Chicken Wings. I really like both, but the Honey Jerk is possibly my favorite. If you feel like spending more money, get the Caramel Rum Cake. Now, there isn't enough rum, and the caramel isn't as good as Brown Sugar Bakery, but the combination of the two isn't bad.

Reservations are useless! Had a reservation at 5:30 didn’t get a table until after 6:30. Happy hour was until 6:00 they didn’t honor our 30 mins missed although it was their fault. Receptionist lied to manager about our whole party being on time when we stood in her face for more than an hour waiting to be seated. Food was ok, drinks were good, service mediocre, music & atmosphere 10/10. Need to work on reservations and better customer service. Overall, 2.5/5
