Wanted to try it out first time. Walked in it was kind of busy looked good it feels like a cafe atmosphere it's not big. Had to go to front by register and asked do we seat ourselves waitress said let me clean tables didn't mind it looked like it just had a rush. She was doing something so me and my daughter sat ourselves down by the front next to windows. The other waitress came and cleaned table after a few minutes. The first waitress came gave menu I understand it looked a little busy so we didn't mind the waits it wasn't long. She asked wat we wanted we told her she left. She looked and acted like she was tired or frustrated. Food came, very tasty. We got ropa vieja sandwich always my favorite and my daughter got jibarrito, a cortado, and cafe con Leche everything was good. She brought us go to plates we paid we left nothing special. When we left I had food in my hands went to pick up friend realized left my purse, my daughter called thank God they found it hanging on chair. I went back to get it the first waitress was behind counter I asked her hi I just called u found my purse turned her back did not response there was a small child that was behind counter kept talking to him with other waitress ignored me. I than went around and said I'm sorry u found my purse she said yeah u can give me a second she literally ignored me kept saying something to child than opened up a closet it was hung on a hook next to a brown purse she stays staring at it my bag is purple pink huge with Puerto rico letters on it, can't miss it i told her that big pr bag is it. there was only 2 bags there and coats underneath proceeded to give to me said thank u she said nothing and left will I go back, no I won't waitress was not so friendly. I don't expect someone to go thru hoops but I don't expect for someone to be so dry.

I'm Cuban. I've spent many years in Miami and New York, and I've eaten a lot of Cuban food.
I had croquetas and they were 10/10. However, the media noche cubano was very mediocre and terribly dry.
I'm going to give this place another shot later on as I know the reviews are good, but for now it gets 4 stars. Staff was good and atmosphere was pretty on par with a good Cuban restaurant.

Visiting from out of state—The sandwich was epic. Steak, egg, avocado, lettuce, tomato and jalapeño! All the good stuff I seek. Service was epic. Enough chimichurri to leave happy. I stuffed all the chimichurri into my empanadas for max effect. I’m already dreaming how to best recreate this when we get home.
