Fantastic restaurant - excellent food, customer service, and ambience. Love visiting anytime I am in town. Their carne asada is delicious, but so are their breakfast dishes, enchiladas, chilaquiles, sopes, and drinks too! The handmade tortillas are perfection. Food was so amazing and their warm homemade salsa is so delicious accompanied by their tostadas. Convenient and free parking lot available.

8-5-25 I’ve lived around this restaurant FOR EVER. Never tried it. The Torta de Asada is DELICIOUS. Flavor is there. 👌🏼 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

All the food I've tried is delicious! Definitely reminds me of home. Coffee is so good! Oh and the pina colada is the best in the city, you can't beat their recipe. Recommend for any time/occasion

Food was fire overall. I had the chilaquiles verdes with eggs and a horchata—both were solid. Salsa had a good kick and the portions were no joke. Spent about $17 total. Service was friendly but kinda slow, so don’t roll in if you’re in a rush. Spot’s lowkey but definitely hits when you’re in the mood for some real Mexican comfort food on the Southwest Side.

My first and last time ever going there. The chips was cold salsa was good , the food was not hot at all it was cold when they brought it to me the taste wasn’t all that something I could of made at home seriously the strawberry margarita was decent but the ladies that served me was nice and friendly.

I had high hopes for 5 Estrellas, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I ordered the Carne 5 Estrella, specifying my preference for medium doneness. To my surprise, the dish arrived with chicken instead of beef, and the meat was served rare, not medium as requested. When I addressed the issue, the waitress insisted I had ordered chicken, despite my clear request for beef. Additionally, I asked for a takeout bag, but was told they no longer provide them, even though another table received one. The orange juice was overly sour, and the overall service left much to be desired. I won't be returning.

This restaurants have the best salsas in all the spots I’ve been to, they are fresh and they are so good

Wonderful place to go during any time of the day! I have come here during morning and night. The breakfast menu is quite appetizing, the orange juice is done on the moment so it’s extra fresh. I will say do some of the items can be hit or miss depending on the person so look out for that. The night menu is extremely delicious! I prefer it over the morning one and the best part of coming at night is the ambience a lot of nice Mexican music and the people celebrating with it. Truly a must eat place👀
