The owner of this establishment is very rude. They changed their policy to where you can only sit in the establishment and use their free wifi unless you buy something from them. As a former patron, I’ve been in this establishment multiple times and purchased food and beverages and at times I have sat in the cafe and have not purchased food from them and have never been informed about this policy. I don’t recommend anyone to come here unless you want to be disrespected by the manager and owner of the business.

I have ordered some food through this app which promised a $15 meal for $5. I got a sandwich and a bag of chips. Was it worth the $5? Yes. Was it a $15 meal? No. So if you're going to participate of something no one is forcing you to do, please abide by the rules.

Love this place! Every time I'm in the neighborhood, I make a pit stop. Bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel is my go to every time. Coffee is great! Ask for their hot giardiniera; it's made in house. Thanks, Paul, James, and the entire staff!

Best breakfast bagel sandwiches in the city; no question! We’ve been coming here for several years now and absolutely love it. It’s a warm and welcoming environment that is community-centric and attracts great people. They host special events in the evenings for charitable causes. They have incredible, rotating art on the walls (they’re inside the Bridgeport Art Center building so many artists come through here) and awesome, eclectic music on the speakers. The staff is hilarious and always make us laugh. We are so thankful for the labor of love that Paul and his team have invested into our neighborhood.

Great space for coffee and little bites while doing some productive work. Nice and comfortable spot with live plants and artworks. Number one coffee stop in my life. Nowhere beats their aromatic coffee beans.

Love the vegan cream cheese bagel and the lattes here.
Not a fan
Excellent sandwiches.
The chili is perfect.
Best salads in the Neighborhood. The artwork attracts a good crowd inside. Always has good vibes in this building. The washable cups are a nice touch. The bathrooms are always available and the hand washing station is the most sanitary in Bridgeport. You can eat outside too in any weather and enjoy the sculptures.
Vegetarian options: I recommend the Garden Salad. There's vegan chorizo too. Yummy.
Parking: The Northside parking lot can get busy, but there's additional parking across the street and farther down Racine Avenue.
Kid-friendliness: There's a picnic-like area outside, plants and paintings inside.
Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp into the building without obstructions closest to this entrance (Racine Ave near the 35th bus stop). I haven't accompanied anyone with different abilities yet, but it seems accommodating.

Hands down my favorite cafe in this area, and there are a lot of cafes around here. Super friendly staff, great food, amazing coffee, and a chill atmosphere - I love this place!

Delicious bagel sandwiches and coffee. We had bacon, egg, and cheddar bagels, hot coffee and cold brew, and some apple pastries. Everything was fresh, eggs were cooked to perfection, bagels were soft with the right amount of chew, coffee was strong and smooth. Everyone inside was friendly and got our stuff out quickly. We’ll definitely be back at lunch for some of those amazing sounding sandwiches!

Have my approval. A nice cafe I was able to walk to and grab some bagels and vegan cream cheese for the next day’s breakfast or snack when traveling. Wasn’t too hard to find ether. Google maps brought me to this main area and that’s where the main entrance is. Also got an iced green tea unsweetened to go as well. Forgot to take a picture of that. Look forward to seeing the place again when I’m in town. Some extra vegan options would be nice but I get it. Just glad there were a few option for myself.
Hands down best chicken pesto sandwich in all of chicago!!! Paul is the man. Iced coffee made to perfection ?
