No place treats your better as a footy fan. Great staff, food is delicious, match days are always fun. Place is full of TV’s and well decorated with football (soccer) memorabilia.

Kid-friendliness: Call ahead to find out.

The owner is so rude. On two separate visits, he was not only disrespectful and lectured me upon arrival. The first time had leftover morning coffee from my yoga class in my bag and he took it from me so I wouldn't drink it and insinuated I was trying to sneak by. The second time my partner came to let me in the same door she was let in upon arrival (knowing they are strict and I can't just walk in) and he legitimately yelled at us and shamed us for "trying to sneak in", while interrupting my partner at any point she tried to explain the misunderstanding. I was mortified. This unwelcoming atmosphere is truly
disappointing.

Okay, let me put it simply. It’s friendly, the food is always fire, and the people care. Shepherds Pie with a pint of Guinness, don’t mind if I do.

Wheelchair accessibility: No step on entry, with mostly high tables in the front room, and some lower tables in the back room. Typically quiet enough to navigate through the venue with ease, unsure of restroom availability.

If you’re on the hunt for flavor-packed dishes and a solid beer to pair them with in Lake View check out AJ Hudson’s!

I started with the pozole, and it was everything you’d hope for in a comforting, hearty bowl of soup. The broth was rich and flavorful, the hominy perfectly tender, and the balance of spices hit just right—it felt like a warm hug for the soul.

Then came The Porker Sandwich, and wow—this is a next-level creation. Loaded with not one, not two, but three different types of bacon, it’s smoky, savory, and absolutely indulgent. The crunch and layers of flavor made every bite better than the last.

To top it all off, I washed it down with a Son of Juice IPA. It had just the right hoppy kick with a subtle fruity finish that paired perfectly with the bold flavors of the sandwich and the hearty pozole.

This meal was a flavor adventure from start to finish. Highly recommend stopping by and treating yourself—you won’t regret it!

Our server, Emma, was outstanding. Super friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Nachos were yummy as was the margarita flatbread but if I got it again I’d hold the balsamic glaze.

Very racist doorman he wont let us in because we were minority, multiple people waiting in line and our friend have table reserved inside but he was choosing white people and letting them in and i asked if we can go in we have friend and he would reply we are at capacity seems strange to me. Won’t listen to us.

Loved AJs. Went in for wings and ended up staying for football. Great service, more than a few TVs to watch sports and good wings. I do need to warn you though. The hot honey wings were incredibly hot. Do not get these if you dont like intense spice. Thank you to the bartender who kept my pop full.

Girlfriend and I wanted to go out and this was on her list of places to go to. Well, what an epic decision. The service was amazing and she was so sweet. To the food…I had the burger of the week and while it was slightly overcooked as I asked for medium, the flavor of the sauce with fried onions was unbelievable. While I haven’t had a ton of burgers in Chicago since I moved here, this one was the best given the flavor. My girlfriend had the French onion grilled cheese and let’s just say all grilled cheeses should have cheese on the outside of the bread. Drinks were great and prices reasonable. If you’re a soccer fan, def come here to watch all things soccer. Cheers AJ! Thank you for a great experience.
