AJ’s Public House in Chicago was an absolute highlight of our trip. I ordered the fish and chips, and it genuinely might be the best I’ve ever had, perfectly crispy, flaky fish, golden fries, and hands down the best tartar sauce I’ve ever tasted. It wasn’t an afterthought or just “on the side”; it elevated the entire dish and made it unforgettable.

The bar itself felt alive in the best way. There was a great buzz in the room lively without being overwhelming where you could feel the energy of people enjoying themselves, laughing, and settling in for a good day. It struck that perfect balance of being fun and welcoming without feeling chaotic.

What really tied the whole experience together was our waitress, Paige. She took incredible care of my sister and me from start to finish friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made us feel comfortable and welcome, and her service turned a great meal into a truly memorable experience.

Between the amazing food, the vibrant atmosphere, and Paige’s outstanding service, AJ’s Public House is a place I’d happily return to and recommend without hesitation.

Sadly the burger was not great but the service and staff made it all worth the trip. Truly, super crew there. Hats off to Jamie for hiring the right crew. I’ll be back.. cheers

This place was absolutely perfect to watch Liverpool FC play while I was on a work trip to Chicago. Atmosphere was great, our server was tremendous and helped me choose an absolute solid chicken sandwich they have.

As a Brazilian living 46 years in the United States in Chicago, I knew a lot of other places that I can watch a final soccer game. I went to this place and at the entrance a very rude person didn’t know how to guide me to aware.The Flamengo crowd was you look like I was treated very badly for being cheer for a team that we won and they had exclusive place for the other team and nobody could come close rude waitress, not taking care of this side of the other people. I thought I’m in United States. there is no violence at any game, which everyone can cheer for any other opponent result discrimination so I highly recommend any Brazilian people do not go there. I will ever step my foot there.

Is a nice bar to have a beer while you watch sports. Bartenders always nice.

AJ Hudson is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. GM Julio is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Awesome grilled cheese sandwich. Must come back. 10/10.

Wow, first stop on my weeklong trip in Chicago, and I landed at the perfect spot to watch the game. Beautiful bar, comfortable, the staff was friendly, the food was good, and I felt very at home, since the Steelers were playing the Packers. Will return!

I liked this place a lot. We've been here before and watched the El Classico. According to the owner today though, they don't allow people under 21 for the El Classico. That's a lie because We've been here before and the picture below is the game we went there for. I would've accepted it as a new policy they did but the owner claimed it to be a policy they've always had. Despite that the food is pretty good and the atmosphere is amazing.

Awesome Soccer bar will play the games you want to watch ! Serie A , EPL, MLS, Champions League, wonderfully done , a class A establishment!!!!!!!!! So accommodating and took wonderful care !!!!! Feels like a taste of Europe right here in Chicago !!! Will definitely be back
