This place is a GEM on the NWside. So thankful to have a local restaurant with delicious home cooked food so close. I popped in for the soft opening and I’m still dreaming about the food!

Omg! We are so excited TASTE OF THE PHILIPPINES has a brick and mortar!!! We love everything about this place! We just went to their soft opening and The food is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! Their adobo, lumpia, and pancit are top notch. So classic yet to die for! My kids who are picky eaters cannot stop talking about their adobo because it’s cooked to perfection! ❤️❤️

New favorite go-to breakfast/Filipino spot! Had their breakfast sandwich and it was to die for! Each bite is a whole experience of fresh euphoric flavors. The breakfast lumpia and ube chocolate chip cookie was also amazing and totally worth ordering.

I wish I had taken a picture of the dish. $15 for 5 small pieces of mushroom on top of the white rice was outrageously expensive. It made me feel that they forgot something in the dish. Taste was OK. There are many options in that area so I wouldn't go back to this place.

Our family hosted 200 person graduation party and from the moment we signed on with Kathy for catering the preplanning stresses were alleviated. Kathy is personable, professional and accommodated our requests. She set up trays of lumpia, adobo, pancit, cebu lechon & a tower of ube cheesecake bites. ATOTP was beautifully laid out and guests raved about her delicious food offerings. We are so grateful for Kathy as her bubbly personality had everyone smiling and feeling festive. ATOTP gets our highest recommendation for catering and for satisfying a Filipino craving! Any chance we get, we visit ATOTP @ the French Market for breakfast, lunch or a tasty snack. Many thanks/salamat po ATOTP & Kathy!!

// SummaryGood enough to satiate a craving for Filipino food, but maybe not good enough to remind you of home.// ExperienceI ordered pork lumpia and chicken adobo. I was a bit surprised that the lumpia was long and thin, as opposed to short and stout. I wasn't particularly satisfied with it, and thought that it could have been better. The adobo was okay - a bit on the weaker side of flavor from other adobos I've had or made myself.// ServiceThe folks were nice and friendly. Was able to get my order in a timely manner. // AmbianceIt's in the French Market, along the edge and across from a Japanese/Sushi stall. You can take your food to eat in the common area just beyond the area.// ConvenienceI'm not entirely sure how convenient the French Market area is, so I'll leave that to more knowledgeable people than myself.

I support local Filipino businesses from city to town, how it goes down. Her success story Kathy amazing. Not to mention her, freshly made Filipino cuisine bomb.

This food truck turned food stall that specializes in authentic Filipino flavors is located at the Chicago French Market, a European-inspired marketplace has curated a unique collection of vendors that create a melting pot of different foods and products from various cultures all around the world. I was still full from lunch, but I after perusing their menu, I couldn't resist and ordered the ube donuts which the worker told me was their most popular item. Lucky me, they still had two left! I also got an ube filled pastry (a turnover, maybe) and the nice worker also gave me an ube cheesecake to try out. There's indoor seating that's reminiscent of a Parisian street cafe if you want to sit and enjoy your food/treats, but we didn't have time for that. These desserts were perfect for being on-the-go though and not messy to eat.The donut was a bit dry, but still tasty and I could taste some of the ube flavoring come through. I also enjoyed my ube cheesecake later that night and I think that was my favorite out of the bunch! It was nice to find a Filipino treat along the way and would have liked to try their other offerings, but there's always next time.
