Romantic. Intimate. Comfortable. This place offers incredible food, excellent service, and that certain something you need in a secluded restaurant. Do not be dissuaded by Open Table, which cheated us out of an earlier reservation. Call directly.
Staff members are amazing and the food is such high quality. One of my favorite for heavy comfy meals.
Delectable, nuanced flavors were a delight. We had a wonderful evening enjoying the food, wine, service and atmosphere.
Six of us .. all ordered something different and all loved our meals. Great cocktails... delicious grilled calamari, and wonderful dessert. Cozy ambiance.
Wonderful food, service, atmosphere. No pressure on sitting and talking and wonderful ambiance all the way around!
Fantastic choice for a group of 8. Delicious food, especially the pastas. Attentive but not overbearing service. And absolutely lovely setting in an old house. Loved it, will definitely be back.
Everything about the night was above expectations. We were seated in the back which was much quieter than the front, and the food was great.
Great service, great food, great wine and cocktails, charming ambiance. What else do you need?
Food was phenomenal the service was even better! The Gnocchi was incredible. The Braised Beef was delightful!
A Tavola was absolutely dynamite. The food was outstanding and the space itself is warm and inviting. We started with salads, which were excellent—fresh, vibrant, and topped with a fantastic dressing. For dinner, we shared the Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe, which had perfect flavor and seasoning. I ordered the Sangiovese-braised beef short rib with saffron risotto and horseradish. The hint of horseradish was subtle and balanced, adding the perfect complement to the dish. My wife had the gnocchi and loved it. I tried a few bites and thought it was excellent as well. Everything here is fresh and homemade, and you can taste the care in every plate. The service was superb from start to finish. A true gem—highly recommended.

A lovely place that is very nice and feels intimate. Food portions were large and delicious - we had Tagliatelle with lamb ragu, short rib, flourless chocolate cake, apple crisp. Server was very attentive and it was not noisy so very easy to talk at a table for six.
I haven't dined in this restaurant in may years (we moved away) and we will now do so regularly. It hasn't missed a step and provides a homey elegant experience with delicious food.
A favorite and special place. Small, delicious, perfect ambience for dates and conversation. If you go early - by 6 or 6:30, you could have an undisturbed dining experience that is romantic and peaceful. The serving staff will not guide you wrong. I always follow their suggestions. And the special cocktail list is creative, beautiful, and surprising.
