Food was phenomenal the service was even better! The Gnocchi was incredible. The Braised Beef was delightful!

A lovely place that is very nice and feels intimate. Food portions were large and delicious - we had Tagliatelle with lamb ragu, short rib, flourless chocolate cake, apple crisp. Server was very attentive and it was not noisy so very easy to talk at a table for six.

I haven't dined in this restaurant in may years (we moved away) and we will now do so regularly. It hasn't missed a step and provides a homey elegant experience with delicious food.

A favorite and special place. Small, delicious, perfect ambience for dates and conversation. If you go early - by 6 or 6:30, you could have an undisturbed dining experience that is romantic and peaceful. The serving staff will not guide you wrong. I always follow their suggestions. And the special cocktail list is creative, beautiful, and surprising.

Amazing food and service! Went there for my husband's birthday and he loved it. It's truly a hidden gem in the neighborhood.

What a lovely place. Intimate, understated, with classic presentations. Our server Tim was exquisite, friendly yet not intrusive. Marvellous experience worthy of many repeat visits.

Disappointing. This experience would have been unsalvageable if not for our busboy.

Bread was stodgy. Olives were odd and spicy and too salty. Calamari was passable, though one diner said it was “undercooked and somehow also a little burnt”.

Both orders of Caco e pepe was DRY, barely any sauce on it. Bolognese was just okay, though I felt like I had just taken the tour of Italy. Roasted chicken was also dry, but acceptable to the diner who chose it.

Our server asked “why didn’t you tell me you didn’t like the caco e Pepe?” And what we wanted to say was “you didn’t come to our table!”

“Shockingly bad” was what my friend said. Not sure If that’s how I felt, personally, but to my foodie friends, A Tavola was a misstep. Again, shout out to the very kind and attentive busboy who tried to make things right.

One of best meals and ambience (we ate outdoors in patio) we have had in a very long time.

We had a wonderful experience at a tavola. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service from Ava was excellent. She was very attentive, friendly, and made the evening even more enjoyable. Josie was also incredibly helpful with wine pairings, which complemented our meal perfectly. The only drawback was that the loud music coming from the kitchen sometimes overpowered the dining room ambiance. Otherwise, it was a fantastic dining experience and we'll definitely be back.

I arrived an hour early and I was seated, taken care of while I waited for my dinner partner. We ordered the same thing, but it was wonderful. I recommend dinner here.

I almost don't want to give such a good review because then it may get even harder to get in to this gem of a restaurant! Food, service, setting all exceptional!
