Food was excellent. The fries were shoestring fries so quite crispy, the burger was delicious and cooked perfectly. The service was prompt but not overbearing. Overall, we'd probably eat here again.

About Last Knife is a must-visit spot in the Loop if you're craving some elevated American comfort food. I went with the steak frites ($26) and a dirty martini ($12), and both were on point. The steak was cooked perfectly—tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. The fries? Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside—seriously, some of the best in the city.
