Went for a conference event. Such a cool place and in a great location. All the employees were smiling and very nice. The food was good for finger food and I ate way too much.I never would have imagined how much fun everyone was having playing ping pong.

I came here with a group of girls on Feb 1st for a networking event. The vibe was actually very nice and lively! The drinks were fine. The service was a bit questionable. The host staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The bartender was fine. Then at one point, after we got our drinks and looked around, the girls and I decided to play some ping pong (which was promoted as included in the networking event). As soon as we approach a table, a long dark-haired waitress with glasses comes up and tells us that the group behind us has reserved all the pong tables and we're not allowed to use any. Confused, we apologized and stepped away. A few minutes later, a couple boys from a DIFFERENT group (not the one she pointed at) started playing on that exact table and she didn't say anything to them. We weren't sure why our group wasn't allowed to utilize the tables (most of which were empty when we approached them) yet another was ok to so so. Either way, we didn't really appreciate being excluded like that so we just finished our drinks and left. There are other spots in the city with nicer service.

Went here technically as a work outing and had a fantastic time. Played "beer" pong most of the time while enjoying añjeo from the bar (not used to most bars having anything better than reposado or knowing anything about the difference, this place did ✓). Tried some of the tasty finger foods that my group ordered, though I primarily enjoyed the atmosphere and game play here. It seems all to rare to have places with activities that go so well with drinking and socializing. If I lived in Chicago, I'd absolutely frequent this place. If I'm ever back, I'll definitely return to Acebounce.
