So my wife and I were going to get coffee when we saw this place on our route. As an advocate for supporting small businesses, I didn't hesitate to stop. Once we arrived I thought the patio was cool and I heard music. We went inside and the ambiance was to my liking. The food was good, and the coffee was too. There were to bass players in the back playing creating this vibe that you didn't want to leave! I'll be honest, most coffee shops look good but the coffee isn't. Not the case with Afro Joe's. More success to that establishment. And to person whose reading my review, you should visit yourself to experience how amazing it is.

Afro Joes is a nice place to have a great cup of coffee, cappuccino and/or breakfast and lunch sandwiches! They have other things on the menu like pastries. The atmosphere is nice and clean. The owners and staff are friendly and pleasant. The food is delicious and made to order. I am a dedicated customer now!

Today is the first time I decided to order for pickup. My order was ready when I arrived! Afro Joe's never disappoints. The iced caramel apple cider was delicious and the bronzeville breakfast sandwich with avocado never disappoints. As always service is top tier and the staff are very friendly. I will definitely be back. :)

When I stopped going to Starbucks, this was the first local Coffee Shop I went to and let me tell you. I love it so much. The people are so nice, friendly, and welcoming. The food and drinks are delicious. Their lavender lemonade tastes nostalgic like my childhood and it's amazing

What a hidden Gem! I work in Chicago near midway and always looking for a good spot for breakfast and coffee. This place has it all. Very good coffee, very cool staff and a great atmosphere to enjoy a tasty breakfast and coffee. I had a drip and a cold brew to go. Both were good, I particularly enjoyed the cold brew. Very smooth with light notes of chocolate. They have outdoor seating as well in warm weather with a nice area for dogs. I was told there is also live music as well. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains. I highly recommend this place! It’s better than Latte Larry’s and Mocha Joe’s!
So I heard another place on Chicago Food To Go and decided to try it today. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. My friend and I ordered the South Side Short Rib Grilled Cheddar Cheese Panini which is one of their more popular items and a strawberry lavender lemonade. It was delicious. The meat was nice and tender and the bread crisp. The atmosphere was laid back. I definitely recommend and will be returning soon.
