After is incredible! The service is excellent. We arrived early and were seated right away. The cocktails are some of the best I've had anywhere. I highly recommend the duck "wings".

Food was delicious, service was excellent but adding a 20% service fee not including tip is ridiculous. There is no disclosure that a TWENTY percent service fee was going to be added. Increase your food menu and drink menu items for transparency rather than adding these ridiculous fees at the end of the bill.

After having the privilege of dining at Grace, we knew After was inevitable. We were finally able to indulge during Chicago Restaurant Week! The ambiance & service was stellar. Everyone from the bartenders to the food runners were friendly, outgoing, & efficient. We had all six dishes on the tasting menu as well as the duck wings. All was perfect, namely the Hamachi Crudo, Chestnut Cappelletti, and Pork Belly. The wings were completely delectable with their perfect Vietnamese flavors and incomparable crunch. Numerous cocktails were had including the Durango Buck, Pantone 110609, Lilikoi, and Kiwi Lopez. The libations were perfectly garnished and left us wanting more. The Lopez was my favorite as its ingredients had so much depth. We were then unexpectedly treated to the Merengue-a-Tang! This outstanding dessert was sublime- the texture of the merengue was perfectly balanced with its creamy tartness. It certainly served as a perfect end to a lovely meal. To our delight, the GM Gabriel Visuetti introduced himself. He then offered a tour of the outstanding property! This included Canvas, B-Side, and Ever. Canvas is a remarkable space perfect for special occasions. B-Side is a rocker's dream with its fantastic art, awesome vinyl, great music, and animated projection m/ Roaming Ever was unbelievable as I just completed Curtis' beautiful memoir “Fireproof.” To see its magnificence in its entirety created an experience that will remain forever. All meticulous details from the famed ornate hall to the dining room's sound system to the impossibly perfect, kitchen and its spice wall (a la Grace) created an everlasting memory. Gabriel was so kind and knowledgeable throughout the tour. He answered our questions with much patience & detail. To hear him mention the innerworkings of the kitchen also noted in the book was surreal. He clearly adores his role there & it showed throughout our short time together. Can't wait to dine at Ever! Eternal thanks to your staff.

a Tuesday night in the middle of winter was probably the wrong time to come - and apologies for making fun everything! - but the food was truly delicious in unexpected and interesting ways, and it was well worth the money. thank you to our server chandler for putting up with us!
Should have been tipped off with the new intimidating security guard as soon as you open the door. Has gone down hill significantly over the last year. Began as a very calm high class place to get an expertly made cocktail with bartenders in vests and ties with chill music playing. They now are all in t-shirts and the music (now rock) is too loud to have a conversation. Sad to see the change happen so abruptly. Will be looking for the next place to have great drinks for a birthday or anniversary.
