We are so glad to see a new restaurant in this space. The atmosphere is nice and also very clean. My husband spoke with the chef for a bit while waiting for our takeout. The concept is Mexican smokehouse, meaning most of their meat options are wood smoked. I had a steak burrito and my husband ordered 4 different tacos, chicken Al pastor, carnitas and carne asada. The flavors were nice and smoky. I think the best were Al pastor and carnitas. My burrito was good as well but not enough steak was on it in my opinion. They are new and I’m sure they are having some kinks to work out. They are a very nice addition to the area and I have high hopes for them to continue to improve. We will continue to support them.

I wanted this restaurant to be soooo good because it's new and just opened. Such a shame because the space is sooo nice. Food took way too long and they falsely advertise. We were one of only two couples there. I ordered 1/2 a chicken and at first received only 1/4 of a chicken until I complained. The plate was supposed to come with beans and it didn't. This saddens me because as a resident of the community I know the people of the community don't usually complain so they will be ripped off. The employees outnumbered us and my cup of water was only filled once. I wish they would have invested in the menu more especially in these times with so much competition. Hopefully they improve as time goes on.

It really pains me to write this because I also wanted this place to be good but unfortunately it’s another gentrified “Mexican” restaurant. The food was soulless and really hard to chew. The staff was nice but not super attentive and seemed overall new to the business which is fair but hospitality is an easy thing to come by. I was super disappointed in the quality and the fact that lights were constantly flashing in my eyes. It was overpriced for platillos that didn’t have alot of food on it. The only redeeming quality was singularly the Jamaica, that was banger.
