Stopped by AJWAAH SWEETS for lunch last week. Grabbed a chicken tikka burger, samosa chaat, and mango lassi. The burger was decent—juicy but nothing to write home about. The chaat was tasty and refreshing, but the samosas were a bit limp. The lassi hit the spot, though. Service was quick, spot’s clean but felt kinda grab‑and‑go—not much seating. We spent around $20 total.

Just tried the Chicken Tikka Burger from Ajwaah Sweets and honestly, it was vvvvvvvvvvvv good! Full of flavor, juicy, and perfectly spiced. Totally loved it! 😍
Also, big shoutout to the staff – their service was super friendly and respectful. Definitely coming back again! 👌🍔

Food: Overpriced, Little and not much, and mid. Takes so much time to make a bag of fries. Keeps changing all their popular foods
Service: Customer service is really bad. They complain about customers. When we want to call on the phone and inquire about something, they talk rudely. They have an attitude. They don't provide whatever is on the menu sometimes and things are not updated. For example, we wanted fries we would call, they would say to us (rudely) that they don't have fries. Atmosphere: Removed the water place. Less seats, if it's full you would have to stand or just walk out with your order. Overall, very rude to people.

Ajwaah Sweets on Devon is my go-to for desi snacks and sweets. Grabbed a veggie samosa, samosa chaat, and a mango lassi. The samosa was crispy and flavorful, the chaat hit all the right notes, and the lassi was refreshing. Spent around $15 and left satisfied. Only downside: the place gets crowded, and seating is limited, so it's best for takeout. Still, the food's worth the trip.

Beautiful family-owned sweet house. They keep their promises and truly deliver. If they say they use asli ghee, I assure you they really do. Everything is made fresh, and you can tell they operate with sincerity, faith, and a fear of Allah. The hygiene is excellent, and the sweets are absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying their Habshi Halwa a must-have!
Preparations are not fresh and not up to the mark.

Ajwa Sweets Chicago is a paradise for anyone craving authentic Desi sweets and snacks! Their mithai is always fresh, rich in flavor, and perfectly balanced in sweetness.
Beyond sweets, their selection of savory snacks is equally impressive crispy samosas, flavorful chaat, and other traditional treats that remind you of home. The quality and authenticity of their food truly set them apart. I love their burgers (simple yet yummy). They have chicken tandoori pizza also which is very good.
The staff is friendly, the shop is clean, and the service is quick. If you’re in Chicago and looking for top-notch South Asian sweets and snacks, Ajwa Sweets is a must-visit!
Beware, these guys are scam artists. The owner of the store gave me one price and then when you want to come in to pick up, the employees tell you a higher price and claims the owner is out of town and can't be reached. They are liars a cheaters and I highly suggest not to do business with these crooks. Sad part is if they are cheating customers, then I can imagine how bad their products are and the food is not fresh.
Sweets are ok.
A decent alternative to Tahoora, they seem to be hit and miss in terms of the items they have.
