Food here is INCREDIBLE. I have not had a miss yet. The lamb and chicken Mandi, the minced lamb, the slow cooked lamb, Adeni Chai. Bloody terrific. Fair prices for expertly prepared dishes. This is my favorite restaurant I’ve tried since I moved to Chicago two months ago. Workers are always friendly and provide great service as well.
I tried the lamb haneeth and chicken mandi, and both were absolutely delicious. The lamb was incredibly tender—it practically melts in your mouth—while the chicken was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The spices are balanced just right, giving every bite an authentic Yemeni taste. This place is truly one of the hidden gems for anyone who enjoys Yemeni cuisine or is looking for quality halal food. A warm and flavorful experience that I’d definitely recommend to others.

When you first walk in the restaurant seems too small and cramped, and is very unassuming. No frills, simple tables and a simple set up. We made our orders at the counter and then sat at our table. It took a little while but when...
