Open super late on the weekends and serving truly amazing Mexican food, Allende is a staple of the neighborhood and a true gem! Came here around 1am on a Friday, place was packed but we were able to order and get a table promptly. Food was ready in less than 10 minutes, my steak burrito was massive, packed with meat, and super flavorful.
There's nothing fancy about the place, it feels almost like an old school diner but serving up some truly awesome tacos, burritos, and nachos. Their salsas are also killer and prices are super reasonable!

The original, before Chipotle 😁
I have never been in their restaurant but my brother and his dorm mates always brought food from there when I visited DePaul 👍🏿
GOOD FOOD!
I liked it soo much that when my lil’bro came home to Minnesota for Christmas or Thanksgiving. I would make him grab a burrito 🌯 and bring one back for me 😁

Pretty chill spot and a nice place to get some late night food. Stopped in here after going to the bar with friends and ended up hanging out here for a couple hours. Nachos were good and their salsa was really nice too.

Got the al pastor taco dinner with a horchata absolutely delicious. The tacos were loaded with flavorful, well-cooked meat, and the horchata was spot on: refreshing, cinnamony, but not overpowering. Great spot for authentic, straightforward Mexican food. Will definitely be back!

So good. Their hot sauce is actually spicy, and the tacos, burritos and quesadillas are all super tasty.

This Mexican restaurant has been a staple in the neighborhood. My children enjoyed their elementary years. They're young Adults now.
