I felt like I was being charged for a massive, multi-tiered wedding cake. The decorations alone cost a fortune - $855! The cake itself was decent price like 160 but 855 to decorate it was crazy

I like this place but the last 3 times I have been there they close early with no prior warning, incredibly disappointing!! Would be nice to hear about these early closures on at the bare minimum a social media post, but nope! Walked up to disappointment tree times in a row so be warned! Pastries are incredible but at least call to see if they are open, since they apparently have sparatic hours!!

We selected Alliance Bakery for our wedding cake after sampling a few options around Chicago. They did a phenomenal job with the design of our cake - I wanted vintage piping and it was beautiful. The cake itself was delicious, we got two cake flavor/frosting combinations for both the cutting cake and sheet cakes for serving and many of our guests commented on how good it was!

Avoid for custom orders - paid over $280 for custom cookies for my sisters wedding shower and they twice delivered misspelled/incorrect product despite having discussed on the phone and sent a correct email description both times. Could not use for my guests and when requested a refund for their errors, they refused, sending back only half of the money. Will not be a repeat customer here and would not recommend to others!!

We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding cake from Alliance Bakery. Not only was it beautifully executed with flawless design that matched my vision perfectly, but it also tasted absolutely incredible! The entire process was seamless from start to finish, the tasting was great, customer service was friendly, and the delivery was right on time. Alliance Bakery truly delivered both in flavor and presentation. Highly recommend for any couple looking for a cake that’s as stunning as it is delicious! 5 stars all around!

Whoever was working Sunday at 7:55 pm was extremely rude and uninviting. I have never been here and was trying to see which cupcakes they had and the person was rushing me to pick as if they were closing. I said it’s my first time I’m just tying to see what you have. Then very rude at checkout. A group of 4 people came in and the cashier audibly sighed and rolled their eyes. Not a place I’ll go again.

A cool bakery and coffee shop. I had the dark chocolate macaron, it was pretty, delicious, and not too sweet. The staff were also very kind and quick!

My partner and I are from NC, visiting our friends in Chicago who have raved about this place for years! I can see why! We got a full raspberry ganache cake which is a chocolate cake with raspberry preserves and chocolate mousse filling , chocolate buttercream frosting covered in chocolate ganache 🤤 it was very rich in flavor and the cake was perfectly moist but it was not overly heavy. The flavors were perfect together. The people working there were very nice and both were actually from NC, one was even from the town we live in! Will definitely have to stop here everytime we visit
