I called earlier today to verify that the Japanese curry with chicken item on the menu Contained katsu curry, As I Do not like the macaroni and salt that this option came only with a side of rice. No woman on the phone assured me that it does And of course, once my food gets delivered It does not have the chicken I asked for and has grilled chicken. This wouldn’t be an issue if I had made the mistake on my own, but if I call to clarify and then receive wrong information You’re just wasting my money. The quality of food here is good but if the service continues like this, I will not be buying again.

Huli Huli and garlic furikake chicken were both really good on the plate when mixed together! Woman who took our order also also seemed very friendly

I always stop in here to get bubble teas and smoothies for my daughter. She loves them. We've ordered entrees a few times too and those are good as well. The teriyaki chicken dinner was fire.

I recently went to a party and the food was catered by Aloha Hawaiian Barbecue. The food was absolutely delicious. The food was was warm, fresh and it arrived on time. Everyone at the party loved the food. I would recommend having them cater to your next party or event. You won't be disappointed. 👍.

I swung by Aloha Hawaiian BBQ for lunch and went with the combo plate—ended up tossing in Chicken Katsu and Kalbi short ribs over rice, plus a Spam Musubi on the side. The flavors were legit—the Katsu was crispy, and the Kalbi had that sweet-savory kick—but the rice was a bit meh. Spent about $18 on the whole spread. Chill vibe, solid eats, just needs that extra wow to get to five stars.

I wanted to give this place a five star because it’s hard to find Hawaian food outside of Hawaii. We traveled from northeast Indiana to give this place a try at lunchtime. When you enter the restaurant you can order from the iPad or order from the cashier. We thought it would be easier to order from the iPad. I went with the barbecue plate which pretty much had everything. When I went to check out, the tip screen came up and my goal was not to give a tip because it was a counter service where you get your own food and bus your own trays. On the screen for tips there’s no option for zero unless you press other tip so I went ahead and didn’t press anything and press continue. I was surprised to be slapped with a 9% default tip. I feel that this is the restaurant up charging people without them realizing it because the tip screen at default should be zero. This is the main reason why I subtracted from the star rating. It just is a very shady way of doing business. The food took a little to prepare for our party of six. We did find that the food was tasty and large generous portions. We did drink a lot of water afterwards so maybe there was a lot of sodium or MSG flavoring in the food. If the owner is reading this, you really should change your practice on the iPad. There should not be a 9% service fee/tip because there is no service basically being rendered except for the food being cooked.

Amazing food that is worth the price!
Highly recommend to bring friends and family to try!

My experience here has been amazing so far!
I have ordered food for pick up and dined in and every time the food was delicious.

We ordered :
Kalbi short Ribs
Garlic Furikake Chicken 🫶🏼
Loco Moco
Huli Huli Chicken
Teriyaki Chicken
Spam Musubi
Passion fruit tea
Strawberry something 😣 I forgot

All the food we ordered was delicious, we actually got a couple of combo plates to try the different options. I will say that my personal favorite was the garlic chicken. It was just so crispy and light and I definitely would order a plate of that just alone.

Each of the plates came with a macaroni salad and rice.

We also got free Spam Musubi because we spent over $40 for our meal but they have other freebie options.

Our total cost for all the food we got was about $80 for 4 people (we ate good!) not including tip. But just be aware that we ordered some combo plates to save us some money.

Just be patient when waiting for your food. I actually enjoyed waiting because the current business location used to be another restaurant called Chan Garden and it was one of my favorite spots to get Chinese food but they had closed down many many many years ago so it’s really nice to see the space activated again.

🥸Honestly, maybe my only complaint is that I haven’t tried all the food and secondly they don’t slice the chicken (thigh cut) so when we try to cut it up using the plastic fork or knife it was a little bit harder. I don’t know if there’s a reason why they’re not cut up but it’s not so much of a complaint just like a technical thing.

💖All in all, I’ll let the pictures do the talking and hopefully you enjoy the food as much as we did.

⚕️If you are diabetic, I would ask if you could adjust the sweetness of the drinks. I had toe taro milk tea at 50 % sweet and it was great :)

I feel like if you get a combo plate or a regular platter, you can always save half for later to avoid glucose spikes but honestly, I didnt finish all of it and I was able to feel fine after so I think with this comment, it’s more about moderation without You Sacrificing quality delicious food.
