I tried Aloha Poke at the recommendation of my nephew and the food was fresh and good flavors. I ordered the chicken as I was a bit nervous about the sushi but next time may try salmon or tuna.

Ordered delivery and the bowl was missing ginger, jalapeno and sesame seeds. I also paid for extra avocado yet only got one piece.

Stopped in after a college tour at Loyola and were very happy with the options available. They have several options of sizes and flavors to choose from. I went with the volcano bowl with marinated Ahi Tuna, Salmon , volcano, jalapeno, seaweed, ginger and crunch and spicy aioli sauce. My son and daughter also enjoyed the bowls they ordered. We will return when back in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staff here is very friendly and Aloha is my favorite place to get poke in the Chicago area. I love that they are opening more locations. Tip: the cashier told me they don't accept hundreds I don't know why but just be prepared if that's all you have. I always get half ahi tuna and half salmon marinated with most of the toppings. Yummy!! Mixed greens and cauliflower rice for a healthy option.

The poke here is about as authentic as the company's "aloha." This company had the misguided audacity to trademark the words aloha and poke, and then issue a cease and desist letter to an independent business called Aloha Poke Shop in Honolulu, Hawaii that was serving real poke long before the company's founders came up with the "brilliant" idea of co-opting Hawaiian culture to make lots of money.

This place is nearby Loyola so it's convenient to grab a quick lunch. The poke is super delicious and only $11. The fish tastes fresh, a lot of veggies option. Totally recommended 👍

this poke place is pretty good but i've come here twice already and they messed up my order twice. the first time, i asked for mixed greens as my base and they gave me white rice. the second time, i asked for spicy aioli sauce and they gave me samurai and when i asked them which sauce it was (because it tasted sweet) they said it was samurai and i told them i ordered spicy aioli and the lady gave me a little attitude. the guy working last time is very nice but this one isn't. 7/10

Poke is okay. The poke bowl would have been better if the rice was marinated in rice vinegar. The big size is a decent amount as it was quite filling. Take it easy on the wasabi since it gets too spicy at times when eating. The staff at this location were nice and helpful.

Very friendly staff here! Iv'e ordered takeout here 10+ times, and the portions of fish are always great!

Great for vegetarians and vegans. You pick a size bowl and that's the price no matter how little or how much you add it. The mini bowl is small but definitely can be a meal. You pick one or more bases (white rice, brown rice, or mixed greens), a protein (fish is raw, chicken and tofu is cooked; it can be marinated too), and then you add as many toppings as you want and sauces too. Service can be slow but it is worth the small wait!

I have visit the Loyola location, and it is generally fresh, tasty, and well-assembled. However, I will no longer be eating there after a few very bad experiences. There is a particularly bad employee, about 6'6" and skinny, who works there late nights on the weekdays. Here are two of MANY less than pleasant experiences with him: The last time I was there, he was out of greens, so he substituted it with seaweed without telling me. He also told me they were out of avocado, pineapple, and onions, to name a few. He directly poured the "marinade" on the sinewy tuna/salmon combination which he "added" for free. After getting home, I looked at it, tasted it, and threw it out. Disgusting In a prior visit, I saw him smoking cigarettes down the block. A few minutes later, he walked directly into the restaurant without washing his hands, and started serving customers. I spoke to another employee, and he confirmed that this employee has received many complaints, but he is not "personnel" and that he doesn't want to get involved. ALOHA POKE you should correct this issue! If you were a visitor for the first time and were served by this guy, there is a good chance that you will never come back. A potential customer lost for life. I enjoy this place, but you need to attend to this situation or you may not be in Roger's Park for very long.

I order a small size and my biggest gripe was that the Ahi Tuna was still slightly frozen and completely gross to eat (think raw frozen fish bites). Flavors were all there and satisfactory but some proportions were weird (more pickled ginger than any other ingredient??) I love poke bowles but unfortunately I won't be returning to the Rogers Park location. The location on Belmont is far superior in quality of ingredients, portions and customer service.

It was great vibe throughout the shop and tasted really fresh. It's not getting full stars just because their food amount is not worth what they charging. Small bowl is too small. I think it's pricey for fast food. Ah, probably you want to do light on mayo. It was too much in my opinion for their Volcano order. Other than that taste really great! Would love to come back for more.

Love this poke place! Been to both Belmont and Sheridan. Always good food and good service. Would like some consistency with portions. Seem to vary from location to location. I could eat poke almost everyday. Just wish I could afford to.

Best fast food poke in Chicago. It's always my go to when I have a poke craving. Everything always tastes fresh and portions are good for the price. They could put a bit more fish in their bowls, but I'm not mad enough about that to stop ordering from here. Their one star rating has nothing to do with their food and everything to do with a social media witchhunt. If you're looking for cheap and delicious poke, this is your place.
