I got food poisoning here 2 days ago. I had the marinated tuna and salmon and seaweed in my build your own bowl. I was in Chicago with a group of 25+ people and we all ate the same meals together except for this one lunch, where I was the only person that chose Aloha. The line looked really short and I was in a hurry. Wish I would have stayed with my group. Symptoms started exactly 3 hours later and I was violently sick for about 12 hours. Focusing on rehydration now. Service was fast and people were nice, but something in the food was bad... very bad.

Came in for a quick lunch. Staff was very friendly and patient despite my visit being during “lunch rush hour”. I was amazed to see how well the staff did with not only the long line but all the orders coming in from pre-orders, door dash, etc. and the food was delicious and fresh. The workers are amazing here, I will definitely be back.

Aloha Poke Co. in the French Market is a solid spot for a quick, healthy bite. I went with the Crunch Bowl Kahuna and added a side of Seaweed Salad. The bowl was packed with flavor, tender ahi tuna, spicy aioli, and a nice crunch from the toppings. The seaweed salad was refreshing and complemented the bowl well. Service was quick, and the atmosphere was casual. Total came to about $25 before tip.

I sadly got food poisoning from the kahuna volcano bowl yesterday, the first time I tried this location. I generally like poke and have no complaints about their service. Location is pickup only, which makes sense for the area.

I swung by during lunch and built my own bowl with marinated salmon over brown rice, topped with seaweed salad, edamame, and spicy aioli. The fish tasted fresh, and the spicy aioli gave it a nice kick. The portion was decent for the price—my bowl came out to around $15. Service was speedy, which is clutch when you're on a lunch break.

Maybe it’s because it’s near closing but $13 for this? I don’t even have to open it to know I’m disappointed by the unbalanced proportions and over marinated fish. Who eats this much pickled ginger?! Their ordering process was confusing and the person at the register felt impatient. Can’t recommend because I walked away feeling like I didn’t even get a poke bowl.
The audacity for a take out place to ask for a 20% tip by default ….. pay your staff more so you can hire quality candidates (or motivate your existing staff to do better)
