Affordable prices, cozy & friendly spot to stop in and eat, incredible food and clean bathroom. The 4.9 google maps rating did NOT steer us wrong! 10/10 recommend.
We went with the tofu burger and fish salad and were very satisfied with both dishes. I'd do lunch here once a week if I lived in the area.

Aloha Wagon – Long Review
Aloha Wagon is a hidden gem that brings authentic Hawaiian flavors to the heart of the city. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with island vibes—laid-back, friendly, and full of aloha spirit. The décor is simple and casual, but it’s the food that truly stands out.
The menu is a celebration of Hawaiian comfort food. Signature dishes like the Loco Moco, Kalua Pork, and Chicken Katsu are all must-tries. The Loco Moco, in particular, is a standout: a juicy hamburger patty on a bed of rice, topped with a perfectly cooked egg and smothered in rich brown gravy. It's hearty and full of flavor. The Kalua Pork is tender and smoky, slow-cooked to perfection, and pairs excellently with their house-made macaroni salad and sticky rice.
Portions are generous, and prices are reasonable, making it a solid value. Everything is freshly prepared, and you can taste the quality in every bite. The plate lunches are satisfying, and the Spam Musubi is a nostalgic touch for anyone familiar with island snacks.
Service is quick and friendly—even during busy times, the staff handles orders efficiently while still showing genuine care. Whether you dine in or grab takeout, the experience feels personal and warm.

Food is delicious and portion size is great. Im not a fan of potato or macaroni salad but when combined it is phenomenal. I also dont like pork but got a pork plate and it is flavorful and delicious. Amazing place one of the best I've tried in Chicago!

Love the atmosphere in here good vibes, great service and great food! Their natural juices are pricey but it is worth it, sooooo good. Their food is more of a Hawaiian Filipino fusion in my opinion but still very good food and comes with a lot of food!

Cute, clean, friendly, and delicious. Never had Hawaiin bbq before but this is great. Mix of Phillipines american and distinctively Hawaiian. Had the Kalua pork n cabbage. Adobe chicken and spam sushi. So good but Adobe stole the show. Great hot sauces to compliment everything. Prices great for the amount you get too. Def a must try in chicago any time of the year.
