I wish my pasta had more flavor to it. Overall satisfactory but probably won’t visit again.

The food is horrible. We got hella stuff and honestly nothing is good. Steak tartare is good but the bread is so dry and tastes so weird. The red wine short rib is dry… I also don’t think it’s short rib. The chocolate cake is like frozen Costco cake… I don’t even wanna continue…

Very pricey but for good reason. Atmosphere is insane, very chic and instagrammable. Pasta dishes were so good, and so was the chocolate cake. Our server was literally the funniest server I’ve ever had.

We sat in the street, very secluded, even for on street dining. The food was delicious as expected, as was the service.

Great food especially the polenta appetizer! My watermelon feta salad was also delicious. Amazing service. One negative is the sewer smell when sitting outside. Hard to avoid in a city but perhaps some fans blowing the smell away from the outdoor seating area could help? Was not a deal breaker. Would recommend this restaurant but I'd probably sit inside next time.

Expected more from the Indian side of the fusion fare, seemed to be heavy Italian and Seafood forward…

Great atmosphere. The service is really good and the drinks are amazing as well. They do have a lot of food options. And the food is really good. Amazing place.

Dining at ALPANA was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The moment you walk in, you're wrapped in warm ambiance and modern charm — it's classy without being pretentious. The staff were incredibly welcoming, striking that perfect balance between professional and personable.
Now, the food? Absolute standout. Each dish felt like it had its own story, beautifully presented and exploding with flavor. Whether it was delicately spiced butter chicken meatball or a perfectly prepared pasta, everything was crafted with care and creativity. You could tell the kitchen wasn’t just cooking; they were showing off (in the best way).
Drinks were just as impressive — the wine pairings hit all the right notes, and the cocktails had flair without going over the top.
If you’re searching for a place that blends elegance, warmth, and knockout flavors, ALPANA is the real deal. Check out the pictures associated with this review and follow on IG @ifooditravel.

Went here with a group of 5. The service was excellent. I had the short rib. It was rich and delicious. We had the steak tartare, butter chicken meatballs, and house baked focaccia. All three were good but the butter checks meatballs were my favorite. Cocktails were good, with the manhattan being the favorite of my group. We also had one of the recommended wines of the month that was excellent.

Our food was phenomenal, the service was solid, and the restaurant was decorated very well. They are knowledgeable about gluten free diets and very accommodating.

The food was good, but I’d go back for the drinks specifically!

Stopped by Alpana for dinner with my partner. We shared the short rib and pistachio pesto pasta, and paired ’em with a Sonoma pinot. Vibe is industrial‑cool, wine list is killer (props to owner‑sommelier Alpana Singh), and food hits the spot—though a few dishes felt hit‑or‑miss. Staff was friendly but felt a bit rushed. Still a solid spot for a date night. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Service was attentive and helpful. The food here was worth the hype I’ve been hearing. The appetizers were the stars of the show.

Favorite dishes:
Octopus
Focaccia with the tomato and herb butter
Golden beets and burrata

My pasta noodles were overcooked but the pesto made up for it.

I recently celebrated a birthday here after receiving a recommendation from a friend. Lisa, one of the managers, took very good care of us by checking in several times and even giving us a free appetizer when we experienced a bit of a delay. She really made our night a special one.

The food was delicious (especially the butter chicken meatballs) and the ambiance was wonderful. Highly recommend!
