Came here for lunch. First ever Italian beef sandwich! Really impressed! Food was awesome, but the fries were absolutely outstanding! The beef was so flavourful and so tender. The bread was fresh as we. The fries brought me back to a place where I used to get the same flavour of fries when I was a kid. Tried a Chicago hot dog for the first time as well! Quite good!! The people were super friendly and the pricing was quite reasonable. Would definitely recommend! Don’t forget to follow me!!

As a chicagoan I've tried many local beef spots but Al's beef was different. There was a spice added that changed the taste of the entire sandwich. I know my beef l, believe me, but Al's was just different and not to my liking.

Went an hour before closing and it was not busy so the place was very clean, the food was hot and came out very quickly. The food was delicious. Hit the spot.
