The wait for your food is long than expected, but to their defense, they ask that you be patient because food is prepared fresh upon ordering. The food was worth the wait. The beef polish with all the condiments and the fries was tasty. Service wasn't too bad.

Excellent burgers and fries at this longtime take out. Not a large menu but what you get is fresh, honest and cooked to order. You can sit in the adjacent dining area - and the fries are better hot. This area of Chicago is a FOOD DESERT. AL’s will fill you up and satisfy your craving for a good tummy filling meal.
