Staring up at the Willis Tower on a rainy day, I was amazed by the spectacular height of this building—but not enough so to keep me from rushing inside to lunch. At the Catalog, Willis’s new atrium food hall, the dining options are befitting of all the big-shot United executives who presumably eat there. My favorite, by far is sweegreen (one word, with a lowercase “s”). The selection of salads, rice bowls, or roasted veggies to whet one’s appetite are virtually endless. After much internal debate, I finally chose the Shroomami bowl. It came with succulent portobellos, wild rice, and irresistible miso dressing. I couldn’t believe I had never tried this outstanding working-lunch restaurant before. And what’s more, it’s supposedly healthy! If you’re in need of a lunch break in the south loop, I fervently recommend sweetgreen for a satisfying menu of fresh-cooked favorites.
Only tenants of the Willis Tower and their registered visitors can access this space, located in the 66th floor Sky Lobby.
