When we arrived it was pretty quiet. We were seated immediately and over comes Vanessa (The best waitress). We had a great time with her. Before I get into the food let me just say Vanessa made the best Cosmopolitans ever!!! Goodness. One is quite enough.Food was typical hotel food. I would eat it to avoid having to leave the hotel. We ordered the following- Lobster Rolls ( cold lobster) fair. It was my first time and I don't think I like it.-Reubens she liked-Fish and chips she liked. Some handsome man came over to our table and dropped money to cover our drinks. How cool!!!

Typical hotel lobby restaurant. Breakfast was a buffet with special order omelet or egg bar. There is a breakfast menu available.

Service was great and our waitress was attentive but the coffee is really bad. Conference coffee level bad. Plus, they bring coffee and orange juice but don't specify that they will charge for both. Almost $5 for a bad cup of coffee is too much when you can get Starbucks literally across the corridor. The place is located at an open atrium. I wonder if it gets loud when the hotel is busy but since it was empty when we were there, it was comfortable to hold a conversation. My order came exactly how I asked which was not a standard menu order. Hence the 3 stars. But due to the bad coffee I will probably not be back.

Excellent service provided by Chaudhry. Although there was initial confusion regarding the discount, he managed the situation well and ensured a positive experience.

Decided to stay in the hotel for dinner tonight and came down to get a burger. I was expecting something decent that just got the job done, but got way more than that. Their bacon and blue burger was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Like 9.7/10 good. I thought I’d had great burgers before but nothing has stuck in my memory like this one. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly the way I asked (medium of course). The fries were cooked to perfection and Elisa's service was very pleasant. Kudos and round of applause to the chef on that burger though. I know where to go when I’m back in Chicago.

Went for complimentary breakfast today. Lacto-Vegetarian choices were limited, service was excellent. Dinner menu has many excellent lacto-vegetarian choices. We are most likely going today for these moderately priced choices.Vegetarian options: Limited, but healthy choices for breakfast; plenty choices for dinner.Dietary restrictions: Vegan & vegetarian (with eggs though) were there. We chose Abocado toast & vegetables.Parking: I did not use it, but have in the past.Kid-friendliness: I saw many hay families with kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Excellent entrance.

My server was five star! Menu could have had more choices and was a little pricey but also hotel restaurant downtown. Day one of conference I had the lobster roll and fries were amazing. Day 2 burger and fries again fries were well seasoned crisp and great. Hamburger was perfectly prepared and just as ordered.

The bad: The calamari had a crunchy exterior, but very chewy. The lobster roll lacked flavor. The okay: The corned beef ruben was flavorful with a decent amount of meat. They didn’t have a green salad, so we had fries and chips. Choose the chips over the fries. The good: The quesabirria tacos had juicy beef even before dipping them in the consommé. The Tuscan and green kale salad was good with the house dressing. We got it with grilled chicken, which was flavorful but dry. The dressing helped here.

Our experience with a server named Ronald at American Craft Kitchen was disappointing. Ronald's behavior was characterized by rudeness, rushing, and inattentiveness, and he lacked eye contact. On the other hand, the lady server provided excellent service, exhibiting politeness and a friendly demeanor. Unfortunately, this encounter left us with a negative impression. However, we remain hopeful that steps will be taken to rectify these issues in the near future.
