What a fantastic brunch place. The potions are outta this world and the price point is way lower than most places. The server we had was attentive and on top of it all. The cinnamon rolls along with the pecan rolls are outta this world. If I lived in Chicago this would be a weekly visit.

I am old so I have been enjoying this restaurant for a long time.

The environment is always clean and tidy but IT IS NOISY so don’t count on carrying on great conversation. The staff is very efficient and friendly. My favorite is a Denver omelet with cheese which is delicious but could use a little more veggies and ham. A friend chose the Eggs Benedict which wasn’t at all appealing in looks and way too runny to be palatable. I always choose the cinnamon rolls as a side dish and next time I’m going to choose double cinnamon rolls and take one order to-go so I can enjoy them later.

Sather’s is built on a solid reputation and I hope to visit again in the future. The cinnamon rolls are a constant of high quality, the entrees missed the mark on this visit. Let’s hope this turns around.

Our go-to neighborhood breakfast spot. We are so lucky to have it around the corner. The best crab cake bennies ever. Super fast, excellent service. And of course the cinnamon rolls are a must.

Super busy and popular, you can't go wrong with getting their cinnamon rolls either as a side or separately. It's pretty loud inside, so it might be a little off putting, but it's easier to ignore once the food arrives. The egg options are plentiful. I highly recommend getting the cinnamon rolls as one of the sides of you want to get the most food per each dollar or if you're craving a sweet treat.

Your Business Is Awesome

DON'T place an order for cinnamon rolls to go!! This restaurant is great in person, the Cinnamon rolls are delicious when you dine in. My issue is with to go Cinnamon rolls. Today I got Cinnamon rolls delivered to my job and they were absolutely trash! They were dry, cold and tasted like they had been sitting out for hours. They hardly had any icing on them either, they were super dry. It's like they give the worst Cinnamon Rolls for the to go orders. This is unacceptable, everyone deserves fresh and delicious cinnamon rolls! Do better with To go orders, to go people matter too.

Their cinnamon rolls of course are iconic! Had their biscuits and gravy, which was really good and filling. Love stopping by whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

A big bowl of chili is so comforting even in the hot summer sun. What makes a bowl of chili better is cinnamon rolls. The combination is almost magical. I had a hard time figuring out the right choice to order. But with a little assistance from the staff they were 100% spot on with my choice. The restaurant has a great vibe which allows for a nice relaxing meal time. The staff is awesome. Come in for a little taste of home while on vacation or on a work trip.

Way overrated. Super crowded, super busy, grumpy waitress and solidly mediocre food. Cinnamon rolls were nice but very sweet, potato side was partially burnt, asparagus omelette was bland and had only asparagus stems. It was an ok meal but not worth the hype.

I stumbled upon this charming local Swedish restaurant completely by chance—and I’m so glad I did. Despite a short visit, I was thoroughly impressed. The Swedish coffee was outstanding, served in a large glass with cream, and absolutely hit the spot. For breakfast, I had the Turkey Gobbler wrap, filled with turkey, guacamole, and spinach—a delicious and healthy way to start the day. It was served alongside an array of freshly baked muffins and cinnamon rolls, which were irresistible. I absolutely loved this place and will definitely be back next time I’m in Chicago.
