If you don't serve people of any other nationality but Ukrainian, then you should make a big sign saying “ If you are Eastern European and you don't speak the Ukrainian language- DO NOT COME into THE STORE”. I was ignored and not served at the salad bar section today just because I didn't speak Ukrainian. I attempted to speak Russian,( I'm from Kazakhstan, I don't know Ukrainian) which you didn't like, ok… then started to speak English language(that's the language of this country in case you forgot) - no reaction. Is there a law for your store only where it says UKRANIAN LANGUAGE ONLY? That's the most uncomfortable situation I was put in today as a customer for well over a decade of living in the States. Quick reminder: your store is located in the US, I mean if that tells you about anything at all. Try to be nicer to people. It does work, trust me!

За выпечку огромное отдельное спасибо пекарям! Иногда покупаем готовую еду, есть привычные нам с любовью приготовленные продукты и салаты. Готовые вкусные консервы, сушки, крупы и т.д. и т.п. Ann's totally rocks! Authentic Ukrainian food in an old school grocery store atmosphere! They offer hot and cold dishes and the bakery is awesome. Some of my favorites are the Olivier salad, Borscht, and Napoleon cake ?Located in the heart of Ukrainian village so check out the national museum also while in the neighborhood.Смачного

Yes you can find Mexican coca cola (with sugar; no fructose) in this place, BUT, also they have a wide variety of Ukrainian products. So, this place is not only a Bakery & Deli, it is algo a grocery store.The cookie waffles are so delicious. The bologna sausage. The pastries are good, but too sugary imo. The place has adds papers at the entrance about things related to the culture. They don't take American Express, but we all know reason why. Tge store offers a lot fish options and caviar

I’ve been going here for lunch for months. Yesterday I went to get lunch and they refused to let me use the restroom. This is something new. I been a regular customer for months & was always able to use the restroom. I don’t know what happened to spark this negative demeanor towards me. I can continue to be a customer but I can no longer use the restroom. I have told so many people about this place. I’m very disappointed in the way I was treated! I don’t know if it was because of my ethnicity.. I will no longer give them my business nor will I tell anyone else about this place. I wouldn’t want anyone to experience what I endured.

I would come to the store a few times a year when I crave Ukrainian food. Unfortunately, the quality is no longer the same. I bought dumplings and holybtsy and I am on a mission to find any meat in holybtsy. Very disappointing.I come to this store several times a year. The quality of food has deteriorated significantly. I bought dumplings and cabbage rolls. 90% rice and 10% meat. So sorry.
One of my favorite places in the entire city. Great bakery, deli, and items. If you're looking for paczki around Fat Tuesday just go here, it's some of the best.
