Bread served when we arrived was stale. Most of the dishes just didn't taste good. The mushroom and polenta was very bland and under seasoned. The sausage in the dish with cabbage and fruit mostarda was very funky and tasted bad. The duck risotto was okay, nothing special. A little disappointed given the good reviews we saw for this place. Overall average to below average food for very high prices.

Zoe was great! She made us killer gin and vodka martinis and recommended an amazing glass of white wine. Food was on point!

Antico is a neighborhood gem with some of the best pasta in the city! We have come here many times and have tried most of the items on the menu. They are all great but the homemade pasta is fantastic! The pappardelle with pork ragu melts in your mouth. The service, drink and wine selection, and overall experience is always outstanding. The space is charming as well with its lovely dining room and charming year round back patio.

A neighborhood gem. Always delicious and always a pleasure. I had the scallop appetizer and the lasagna special. My daughter has the short ribs and she said it was the best meal she's had in months. (She's a college student and home for the holidays). My husband had the pear salad, followed by the duck risotto. Everything was delicious, the service excellent and they treat us like friends. Highly recommend.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Friends invited me for my birthday. Had the wild mushroom over creamy polenta and both the fig and the tomatoe Burratas for starters. All excellent! The San Marzano Gnocchi was amazing! Melts in your mouth plus the tomatoes were perfection. Mushroom Pappardelle was subtlety delightful. The short ribs were so tender and perfectly flavored.. Branding was the most interesting I've ever had with the smoked tomatoes. Eat in the outdoor area, its so quaint! Service was superb and the Barolo wine we chose was like drinking in a summer day.

Fantastic spot that's a bit hidden away off the main drag.

Everything we got was delicious and made fully in house, including the pasta.

Service was great and the staff were very friendly.

Highly recommend getting the combo that lets you try a dish for each course selection.

Gem off of armitage. Small spot, but very cozy and back porch is heated . We were a part of 6 and tried a few thing's. My som said best steak he has ever had. Pasta was great too. We shared burrata. Waitress was good about rec wine and cocktails. I actually loved the bar and would sit and eat dinner there if it was just two of us.

Antico needs to be on your radar, it's a neighborhood gem. Wonderful service, a great atmosphere (we sat by the fire in the covered garden on this visit) and lovely food. We rarely go out for Italian food as we often make it at home but we make an exception for Antico. We ate with friends on this occasion and between us we shared the scallops (wonderful), pate (lovely), tagliatelle (lovely), risotto (delicious), short ribs and rib eye (both were perfect). The elderflower martini was very tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed our wine. Highly recommended !

What a neighborhood gem! We loved the hazelnut/pear salad as well as the scallops specials. We split mushroom pasta and amazing branzino. The gelato was also wonderful. It was quiet and cozy and welcoming on a snowy, winter night.

My partner and I decided to come here for dinner. The waitress seemed nice and recommended a wine for us that we enjoyed. We had just one glass each. She also recommended the 4 course experience, which seemed fine enough for the price. We were both pretty hungry, so we went ahead and did just that.

Each dish had a handful of parsley on it aside from the dessert. So much so that each bite was parsley forward. If you love parsley, you're in for a great time. I personally prefer to experience different flavors with each dish, but to each their own.

Going back to the dessert, we were charged for it even though it should have been the 4th course in our 4 course meal. That is unless they consider the fresh bread that was shared between my partner and I to be one of the courses. I say this jokingly as the waitress did state that dessert was included, and offered to bring over the dessert menu if it would sway our decision.

The food itself was disappointing for the price point.

All in all, I would have rated it 2 stars if not for being double charged for two desserts that were supposed to be included. My partner and I were charged $300 for a subpar experience. I paid the bill and didn't dispute the desserts because at that point I just wanted to leave. I figured an honest review would pay it forward.

Antico is the kind of charming neighborhood Italian joint that makes you wonder why you ever bother with the big-name spots. From the moment you walk in, the friendly service sets the tone — warm, attentive, and genuinely happy you showed up hungry.

The dining room is inviting and surprisingly calm, even with large groups scattered around. It’s that rare restaurant where you can actually hear the people you’re with, which feels like a Manhattan miracle.

We went for the four-course meal, which is a fantastic deal and comes with portion sizes that seem to assume you haven’t eaten in days. The duck liver pâté was a standout — rich, flavorful, and practically a meal in itself.

The gnocchi was perfectly cooked and very tasty, the kind of dish that disappears from your plate before you realize you meant to share.

But the clear champion of the night was the filet — incredibly tender, full of flavor, and so generously portioned that I ended up taking most of it home because the first two courses had already won the battle.

As for dessert… I can’t comment. It’s currently sitting in my fridge, and I’m still far too full to attempt it. But based on everything else, I’m optimistic.

A wonderful spot with great food, great value, and great vibes. Come hungry. Very hungry.

Great local place, I hate that it's been “found” just for my sake not for owners. I do think they would benefit from having a more thorough wine list from $50-100. Or I as a customer would.

Food and ambience excellent. The only minor thing was the service was a little inconsistent. I think our server Nora who was wonderful was the only server working. A few other tables commented as well. She did all she could and these things happen. Antico know you can't have one person on a Saturday night. If I'm the manager/ owner I serve tables. We will come back. Thanks for all you did.
