Tacos are great, but a tad bit pricey. I had the Sweet & Spicy chicken tacos. Plates are small. I will come back.

I was really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. I ordered a veggie taco, a fish taco, a chicken taco, and an horchata, and the total came to $24—which felt steep for what I got.
The veggie taco was actually quite good, but the fish taco had an unpleasant sauce, and the chicken taco was disappointingly dry. Given the price, I expected better quality across the board.
To make matters worse, the bathroom faucet wasn’t working, so I couldn’t wash my hands properly—definitely not ideal for a dining experience. Overall, I left feeling pretty let down.

We stopped today and this location after many times to form a nice review and tell you exactly how is in the end after the three visits with that we order a kale salad with the salad was fresh but all the condiments in the salad included shrimp that we ordered with shrimp it was all the way in the bottom and the top you don’t see anything except guess the kale in in the past and the last two visits before is salad coming with cranberries, and this time, it was no cranberries. We order three tacos the Carnitas they was pretty good the tacos but misrepresentative for Carnitas most like it is anti taco home version, and Cocinita pipil if we go for that description, there was very good tacos steak taco we order one and the menu say skirt steak. That meat was very tough flavorless most like it I can say is not a score steak it is another kind of meat, but the marinated and the tenderized can pass for a skirt steak for people don’t have the pallet to identify the kind of meat definitely I skipped the steak. Taco recommended the Carnitas and the salad. The only problem with the salad. It was a presentation was very skinny service was very slow and for some reason, I have that feeling like the people who work over there it is more like a they just wanted to throw it to you the food and don’t put attention and anything else. I think customer service is very poor and the situation atmosphere is OK music from the 80s no Mexican music I guess as go with the flow my point is you can come and give me the shot and think and you see what you like from that place but this is basis and 3B things I did to this location

Staff was super pleasant and the sweet and spicy tacos were amazing! The chicken is deliciously seasoned, and the touch if mint and cucumber plays really well with the jalapeño. I had two and they were ready promptly and bigger/more filling than I expected!

Fish and steak were the best tacos. City prices but they made these fresh and they make the wait worthwhile. Attentive and kind service, tap water and bathrooms too. Great place for a food tour, pit stop, a quick snack.

Extremely RACIST STAFF! I’ve never experienced racism so blatant right in front of my face. I was extremely uncomfortable from the time I walked in from the time I walked out. Literally it was like everyone was staring at me as if they never saw a black person eat there before! Also the cashier with glasses on was fatphobia because he kept making slick comments as I was ordering my food, saying things like ( is the meat going to be all together in 1 taco or separate) I asked like what I’m confused what do you mean because they don’t even come like that. He then proceeded to say “No, I’m saying like are there going to be in separate boxes?” I said No! He’s like awe ok it’s ONLY FOR 1 person? I said yes! The way he said it and looked at me was like complete disgust. Mind you it was only 3 tacos but I wouldn’t care if it was 10 & all for me! You shouldn’t treat people like that. Then maybe I thought maybe it was my shirt that offended everyone so badly because of it saying “black & proud”. All around just a disgusting atmosphere for BLACKS, unless you come in with Caucasian friends then in their mind you’re ok! I sat in there and listened and observed if the cashier would ask some of the things he asked me and sure enough he didn’t! Also I’ve never heard of a restaurant telling me I have to make sure I clean up after myself if I sit in there and just from reading his spirit and the way everyone was acting they did not want me in there at all.

The food is so good. I have to give them their tens. The antique taco salad, with pork especially, the potato poblano taco!!?! So good. Highly recommend. And they are always nice and accommodating. We put in large orders fairly often and it’s ready timely and still warm when it’s back to the office. Thank yall at Antique Taco

It was soo good! Come here for a food tour, so we each got one pork carnitas taco. The tortilla was sturdy and soft, and the different ingredients made it so flavorful! The more intense flavor of the tamarind pork contrasted well with the freshness of the cheese, spinach, and avocado. The crunch and flavor of the bacon was a great addition as well. It could be improved if the pork was not overcooked though, since it was a bit tough. We ate outside on the benches and the environment was nice.

Overall pretty mid experience. The pork carnitas were pretty good, but the rest was pretty bad. The staff were kind of unfriendly and it was (characteristically for Chicago) about 20% more expensive than it should have been. I guess it’s my fault for eating in a tourist-y area, but hopefully this serves to prevent someone else from making the same mistake.

I had a very strange experience yesterday that makes me uncomfortable to ever go back. I noticed a customer being yelled by an employee with profanity and flipped off. With so many options for tacos I don’t want to support an unprofessional environment. I think anyone should think twice before going here
