Antique Taco Wicker Park not only has great food, but they also care about their community! I reached out about bringing in my teen social group for a local community outing, and they were so flexible and welcoming. They allowed us to practice ordering, paying, and socializing in a public space. The teens had an amazing night in an inclusive setting ❤️

Great service/atmosphere but the food didn’t quite hit the spot for me. We ordered the elote, carnitas & steak tacos, and posole. Each item had a bit of a ‘Tex Mex’ flair, which is fine, but it felt like each of the components of the fusion could have been improved. The posole had a lot of what seemed like liquid smoke added after the soup was cooked that overpowered the flavors of what’s normally a mild broth. The arugula in the tacos was interesting but felt like it might be better shredded like cilantro. The sauce on the carnitas was similarly strong/overly sweet and the bacon/avocados felt kind of like an afterthought and could have been integrated better. On a more positive note, the elote was fantastic - more like a creamed corn, and was definitely a highlight.

We came back because the Bridgeport one was so good. They don't disappoint here either. Pozole was a 10. Taco sauce the main reason why we came back.
One of the saltiest tacos ive ever had

Antique Taco is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Ashley and Rick is nice. Very well run and feels like home. Fish taco is great. Must come back. 10/10.
Highly recommend their fried chicken burrito - was clean, felt healthy, and was very tasty, all for a decent price.
Friendly staff and open layout with lots of seating.
Provide crisp, clean water and glasses.
Easily will become a new go to

Good taco! Terrible queso. I think maybe the queso I got just “broke”, but it was gritty and bad. Good tacos though! Avoid da queso

Not antique, very contemporary. Carnitas should not taste like sweet barbecue nor should they have spinach and bacon. Tastes like Maroon 5. The potato and poblano tacos were too sweet and the potato chips were too sour. My dear friend choked on one of the chips and died
I just needed a little snack and popped into this little shop. I ordered one single crunchy taco and it was amazing. Highly recommend this authentic shop.

Can I give this place 10 stars? Visiting Chicago and this place is so good I had to eat here twice. Super fast service and excellent quality. The chips are perfection. The Carnitas is a standout with the avocado, bacon and spinach on top. The potato taco is a delish and filling veg option.
Ordered to-go both times ( excellent branding ) but will have to make a point to dine-in next time around! Such a cute looking spot.
PS I love to support women-owned!
