Wow. Came for the burger but it was brunch menu. I had steak and eggs and was blown away at how tasty and flavorful the dish was. 10/10 would come back.
The chefs tasting menu was bland. We liked the mussel toast and pecan desert the best. Would be much better priced at $40 a person. Also adding a 5% surcharge for “employee healthcare” automatically to a 2 person $200 bill is insane. If you cannot afford to pay your employees well and provide healthcare charging the menu prices you do then you should contact someone to have a look at your books. The absolute greed of this place.
Wonderful food. Felt lucky to have this restaurant near McCormick Place.
We were excited to try Apolonia, but unfortunately, the experience fell flat due to a series of service missteps that made for a frustrating and uncomfortable evening. First, the air conditioning was completely broken—and not a word about it until we had already arrived and were sweating through the first course. The dining room was uncomfortably hot, and every guest looked visibly miserable.
Service was painfully slow throughout. Our dinner took three hours, and despite the long stretch, we were only offered two rounds of drinks due to the lag in service. We were also asked about allergies and dietary accommodations when making the reservation and again upon arrival; however, these requests were ignored and poorly executed during the meal.
To be fair, the food itself was good, but not enough to overcome everything else. When you’re drenched in sweat and constantly wondering when (or if) your next drink or dish will arrive, even the best food can’t save the experience. Disappointed, and would not recommend to others.

Food was OK but the portion is very questionable, spent $50 got the calamari and potato gnocchi, and I was still hungry after that, had to go to nearby Chinatown for some more food. Get the portions right man, especially the calamari pasta thing, squid and pasta are cheap, there is no reason you feed cat food to a grown man like that!

It was all delicious, servers were super friendly, ambiance was beautiful, and if you have food avoidances, the servers were very informed about the ingredients

Good food, service is ok. The atmosphere is a bit too sterile for my taste.

Espresso martini was divine! We did the hummus app as well and they even gave us extra pita. It’s a heavier hummus but worth every bite. Had the steak and was cooked to a perfect medium rare on a bed of sauce. Service was good and the restaurant was cute!

WOW! What an incredible restaurant. On a girls night out, we each got the tasting menu simply because everything looked outstanding, along with the wine pairing. My friend who doesn’t eat red meat, they were happily able to swap some of the dishes with alternatives like mushrooms in the sausage pasta. The entire minimalist vibe and open kitchen concept was unique with my favorite part being the carpet under the tables to minimize the volume of the spacious restaurant. Each dish felt perfectly thought out and was extremely delicious! Im still dreaming about the pistachio ice cream!!! Perfect for a date night, girls night or special occasion! I wish they had a small table or purse hooks to place your purse or jacket during dinner, especially when it gets colder in the year.
