i couldn’t believe what an amazing tasting experience this was. hands down the best pasta in the city — their signature dish with the hand rolled pasta and the sausage sauce was incredible. i wanted to lick the bowl. they also have a famous appetizer that was like puffed fry bread topped with truffles and we did enjoy it, but it was too much to order with the tasting menu and we thought it was a little salty. the fish served with olives and — i believe fennel — was just sensational. our favorite was the pistachio dessert. and the wine pairings were perfect.

A 5 course tasting menu for only $58 sounded too good to be true, so I tried it for myself and wow. No wonder they’re on the michelin guide. The service, attention to detail, intention behind the dishes was all spot on. Would absolutely visit again next time I’m in Chicago. Amazing experience.
Really good food, great staff and a nice setting. We enjoyed seeing the activity in the kitchen. One of us tried the tasting menu with wine pairing (delicious!) and we also ordered the puff bread, octopus, Brussels sprouts and the gnocchi. My favorite was the puff bread. It reminded me of Langoși (Hungarian/Romanian street food) but more elevated.

Apollonia You should be so very proud of yourselves for having the amazing Louisa on staff - I was planning a very special final date night before we get married and was not only given one of the best seats in the house but Louisa asked me if she could elevate the experience - She had typed up and printed a special customized card and then asked me what songs she could have playing of ours while we dined - She did it - and it surprised my partner so much that we got up to dance in front of the entire restaurant. One song was to be our first dance at the wedding and I figured we needed to practice, right? The food was phenomenally made - fusion med tastes and complicated light upnotes - what a special night you made for us, Louisa - it will live in our personal love story and its history. Thank you!
the food was great, definitely worth a return or 20 (the truffle bread... chefs kiss). we did come right at opening so we had the whole place to ourselves but that was good with the kids in hand. Very polite service.

Very tasty food and good service. Restaurant is quite noisy due to hard surfaces. I also resent paying a forced fee for employee benefits. I pay my employees benefits too, but I don't add it as a surprise to client bills!
