$42 for one beer and a glass of wine is highway robbery! Steer clear unless you're pre qualified for a second mortgage
Got the tofu bowl which turned out to be bland overall. Spicy Tofu had the spice but it was cold which did not go well.
I would come back if I'm in the terminal again. My cooked salmon in the poke bowl to-go was still moist and had decent flavor. Staff maybe not the friendliest but they were effective and served bowls fast when I came by at noon. $17 salmom poke bowl with white rice and 6 vegetables. I also like how Japanese food tends to be a healthy option.

Walked up to the counter, greeted the employee and stated that I would like to try the iced chai tea. The employee taking my order looked me dead in the eye and said, “oh Idk” and pointed to some packets at the end of the counter. I felt like she was shooing me away for I had interrupted her personal time. I immediately replied with, ‘oh, if you don’t know, then I definitely don’t know’ and then I went to the next business to spend money. Sat down at a bistro and spent $55. If this employee was at all friendly or knowledgeable or even just tried to acknowledge me when I walked up to the counter, she probably could’ve sold me on a whole meal, not just a drink. I get that not everybody may be having an amazing day, I sure wasn’t, but a little kindness goes a long way. Also, weird that she works there but doesn’t know anything about the food/beverages you sell. Some product training and lessons in customer service might be in order. I sincerely hope it was a one-off and the whole crew is not this rude and incompetent. I fly in out of Chicago regularly and would still like to try the food from this restaurant, but I don’t know at this point. It was a total turn off.

Not even edible which is saying a lot for a rice bowl. I threw most of it out. None of the topping flavors went together and the tofu was gross.
Had a great experience here while holding over for my flight out. The Tempura shrimp and caramel apple drink was delicious and I'm very happy that I stopped by. Thank you, Lerin!

Two stars instead of one because my waiter was very nice. But the food was mediocre at best.

Terrible customer service. You stand there for a million years and no one offers to take an order. It's an airport, most people are in a hurry and bad customer service really shouldn't be acceptable.

They have several vegetarian breakfast options, but none can be made vegan. The sandwich uses Morningstar patties that have egg. Bummer! I did see some edamame and premade juice in the cooler.
Tranquil sushi haven where balance and purity shine.

Ordered a build your own rice bowl with teriyaki salmon, kim chi, cucumbers, pickled radish.
Salmon was overcooked but edible. The teriyaki sauce on the salmon was on the heavy side for my personal taste. I would ask for it on the side next time.
$17 after tax is expected at an airport. And portion was perfect for me.
I’m glad there’s a restaurant with non deep fried, lactose free, vegetables (other than a salad) and probably gluten free food.
There’s also a separate bar area where you can sit and order sushi and drinks. Seating area has outlets and hooks to hang jackets.

Sometimes it is important to let the readers know not just what to try, rather what needs to be avoided. #Arami at Midway Airport Chicago, is one of those. I ordered Spicy Tuna Maki. The lady at the cash register asked me to find it (she couldn’t) and bring it to the cash register. That shows the training on courtesy. Coming to food itself, neither the rice and fish quality was good nor the shaved ginger was fresh; it was turned dark brown.

The food and service is excellent! I do not know what the previous person experienced. I, along with everyone else around me, paid after we finished eating. This Black-owned business is crushing it. They helped me make my poke diabetic-friendly with much flavour. I look forward to coming back again with my return flight. My favourite bartender is Lerin!
