This place is worth a trip during your layover at Union Station. One of the best food options in that area by far. The bhindi (okra) and dal tadka were terrific. The rice also was perfect. I've never had indian rice like this before. Prices are very reasonable.

Ordered the chicken biryani and ras malai dessert. The total was around $20. The biryani, although a pretty big portion size, was mostly rice and so was very bland. The chicken was also quite dry. The ras malai dessert, while good, was incredibly expensive for the portion size. I probably wouldn't stop by again but the service was good.

Great food! Great service!Beats any desk restaurant in Chicago. We were traveling from Michigan and always paid for overpriced low quality food and service in little India Devon st. But not anymore Aroma thousands times better!

We tried several halal places while staying in downtown, this was by far the best. We dined in, the environment was pleasant, the owner was super nice. Highly recommended if you’re in the city!

We got the butter chicken and mutton Qorma. Both of our dishes were very tender and the flavor jumped off of the fork. Loved every bite.

Excellent food at a reasonable price! I really like that their food is not v spicy. A lot of variety on their menu. I ordered a chicken dish with naan. Their main entrees come with plain rice (wish I knew), but have to say naan was much better. I also ordered frontier chicken wrap to go for my next morning flight. That was amazing.

Sorry but I will be brutally honest, I don't understand how this restaurant has 4.6 ratings but if you can mess up a mango lassi then I don't know what dish can help you get that rating.I ordered chicken biryani, chicken Karahi, naan ( which was good so i will give 1 star) and Mango lassi and it was the worst i have ever eaten in my experience.Chicken biryani was stale and it barely had any masalaChicken Karahi was literally big chunks of tomatoes floating in a lot of oilMango lassi was watery.

OHMYGOD I stumbled here on my way to Hmart and decided to pop in and i’m SO happy so did. Feeling like I discovered the ultimate hidden gem in Chicago and having tried many “hidden” gems, I have to say this is my favorite find ever. The portion sizes are ridiculous considering the cheap prices that I almost feel as if I’m stealing. My food came out fast and hot and DELICIOUS. I even saw the guy cook my food in the back.I just cannot rave enough about this place. You must come and try. You can’t go wrong.By the way, I’m vegetarian and this place is definitely vegetarian/vegan friendly!

This is a must-visit restaurant! Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but the service is incredible. We were warmly greeted and treated well throughout our meal! The menu is robust and offers many delightful options. The butter chicken and garlic naan are to die for. Plus, it is incredibly close to both Union Station and the blue line.

The food in this Indian and Pakistani Restaurant is excellent. I had the Chicken Qorma which came with a salad and fluffy seasoned basmati rice. I also got garlic naan which was delicious and large. The owner waited on me and he was very cordial and welcoming, Just a 5 minute walk from Chicago's Union Station 560 W Van Buren. A short safe walk south on South Canal Street to Van Buren.

authentic pakistani cuisine, warm servicefelt welcomed as soon as i came in, got a mixed platter and garlic naan. both came in large portions, enough to share between 2 people easily. the chicken was tender, full of flavor, and had a great spice.

Authentic. Samosas were soft and full of texture with just enough crunch. My new Indian spot. Highly recommend.

We needed to find a nice restaurant between Amtrak's Union Station and Metro's Blue Line, Clinton Station (We take that to Ohare).Tried several but this restaurant is the winner. Exceptional in all respects. Service, price, and most importantly, food! Very very tasty Indian cuisine... A bonus, the owner is a friendly guy.
