Nice dosa place. It's not a full blown sit down restaurant but it's good for quick bite. It's located inside a food court. Items are limited, but if you are in mood for a quick south Indian food then its a good option.

The dosas, idli, sambar, ice cream… it’s all so wonderfully delicious and perfect for anyone anytime, whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, gluten free or not. It’s worth a trip into the city by itself for sure and I’m sure I’ll be back soon.

The Art Of Dosa has a good assortment of south indian dishes in Chicago. I ended up ordering a masala dosa and wasn't disappointed with it. It was crisp, perfect level of spices and accompanied with chutney and Sambhar. The only feedback I have for them is to give more Sambhar. The chutney is not so great - so didn't have much of it. They were super quick with the service. Photo of the masala dosa.

Art of Dosa in The Sterling Food Hall is legit! If you're craving some solid Indian comfort food, this place has got you covered. I tried their masala dosa and the paneer tikka, and both were on point. The dosa was crispy and stuffed with a flavorful potato filling, and the paneer was perfectly grilled with just the right amount of spice. The vibe is casual but modern, and it's perfect for grabbing a quick, satisfying bite. I spent about $15 for both dishes, which was a steal considering the quality and portion size. If you're in the area and want something different, definitely check this spot out!

America needs more Art of Dosa. This is such an amazing alternative to standard food court/food hall food. This place spins dosa to order, they come off the griddle hot, crisp and so delicious. Comes with gunpowder, chutney and sambal.

Masala dosa plate and wrap both were good in taste. Masala dosa plate was served with gun powder, chutney and sambhar.
The seating area is great in the food court and a good to try Indian food for someone in the Chicago downtown area.

Fantastic food, perfectly moist and crunchy dosa, the ingredients in my Mysore wrap were very flavorful, the chutneys were fantastic as was the self-executed addition of the black, “gunpowder,” to my soup. This place is very vegan, and the proprietor seemed to be an actuated human being. This place is definitely open and worth a visit, namaskar. Food court music was also nicely cultivated. 😌🙏🏻❤️‍🔥

The food and all was good, but one thing that made me write this review is the service offered. Our order got mixed (we ordered masala dosa, and it got mixed with masala dosa roll- acceptable mix-up). When I brought it up with the guys, they prepared another masala dosa for us- that was nice. But wait!!
The chef (don't know the name but the black guy) went above and beyond. He remembered that my wife had initially requested the dosa to be soft- so he prepared another dosa for us, a soft one, and came to us and offered it. This just was so considerate of him. God bless him and thank you Chef so much for all the efforts.

Inside a food hall, lots of other places to choose from. Cashier wasn't very helpful when asking for advice (I've never heard of Dosa before) ended up getting out of line to Google a few things. Chose the Masala and my friend got the Myesore. Both were delightful. She got mild spice, I chose spicy. She said she should have gone with spicy. Hers came with dark gunpowder,.I preferred that to my orange gunpowder. Overall really delicious and I'd definitely try it again!

Actually I recommend this place only if you’ve no choice and hurry. 🥹 I had my favorite masala dosa here and guess what they gave DOSA separate masala separate box 😅😅🤣🤣🤣 I mean it’s my first time I don’t know to be surprised and irritated. Just a suggestion to owner trust me if you keep masala inside dosa while serving that would be best taste ever.

This place is supposed to be specialist in dosas. Most of the negative reviews are to the point. Let me summarize the masala dosa: less than mediocre dosa, God knows what the potato masala was about, disgusting Sambhar, meh chutney. Didn't feel good after eating.

Loved this. A great quick meal while you are walking around Chicago. The dosa wraps were so tasty and has so much flavour in them. We ordered the Masala and the Chole. Probably could have shared one between the two of us, but it was fun to try both flavours. Entirely plant based, so didn't have to worry about anything for me (vegetarian) or my partner (lactose intolerant). The ice cream shakes are good as well, the use coconut milk so get a flavour you think would go well with a coconut-y taste.

Vegetarian options: Literally everything
