I visited Artango Steakhouse during Restaurant Week and overall it was just okay. I ordered the Restaurant Week menu. The mushroom pizza tasted like something from the refrigerated section of a grocery store not very fresh or memorable. The NY strip steak was dry, even though I asked for it cooked medium, which was disappointing for a steakhouse. The chocolate cake was fine, nothing special. On the positive side, the service was good friendly and attentive which helped the experience. Overall, I expected more from the food given the reputation, but the service stood out in a good way.

While the atmosphere was good, and the menu was unique, the food we ended up getting was not great. Two concerns – there are two most popular dishes were sold out, even though there were very few people dining that evening. Two of us ended up ordering potato gnocchi with tenderloin, and the dish was not very good. The gnocchi was overcooked, and there wasn't much meat in the dish.

We love the New Year celebrations at Artango. They are so festive and entertaining. Great ambiance!!

We had two good meals and 2 poor meals. Fixed menu way too expensive for what was served. Pianist was too loud.

We came for the Christmas. The service was outstanding. I have the New York strip and my husband had the lamb. Both dishes were great. The drinks were also outstanding.

4:00 PM reservation for Thanksgiving. Not much going on when we arrived. It appeared that the staff was just getting going, our table needed leveling (taken care of), and the canned music was loud (volume lowered at our request). After that absolutely 0 dissatisfaction. Service was a delight, with a charmer of a server, and the food was glorious, though a bit different than their website had shown. Definitely going back soon and most definitely for next Thanksgiving.

We made reservations to see our friend play live music. If you are interested in the music please indicate that on your reservation otherwise you will be seated in the back. The empanadas are baked not fried and a highlight - do not miss! We had the steak flight and was a good amount for two people. Some of the meat was oversalted according to my partner, I liked it, so depends on taste. However, one our friends order pasta (don't ask me why pasta in an Argentinian restaurant), but it was overly salty and the portions was puny for the price and no meat. The service was great and very attentive. The bar is slow and likely understaffed. But everyone is lovely and friendly. Our musician friend had a small emergency and needes a small screw driver. Our server found one and deliveres - so kind of him.

Amazing night with our family at Artango. We've been here before for a date night but wanted to come with our extended family this time. We even brought our toddler and baby and the staff and food were awesome. The service was prompt and friendly and the restaurant is clearly a great place for families in addition to being a lovely spot for a date night.

Piped-in music way too loud....especially if seated near the stage...live music was fine...just the piped-in music too loud

Margarita was too tart, but that was the only thing that was off, everything else we had was great. Delicious empanadas. Steaks were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Sides were very good, especially the plantains. Service was fine. We will be back!

Fantastic experience for a small birthday party. Excellent food, service and live performance . On a pricey side but worth it as a special treat.

Ambience was great, drinks were great. Ordered the steak flight, ordered medium well, but all 3 steaks were well done. The last one was so overcooked I couldn’t finish it. Told the server, all we got was a sorry. Would be willing to give another try. Not sure i’d order the steak again.

Love Artango. Would GREATLY enhance ambiance if they turned off overhead lights in the front section facing the street- it's way too bright for the vibe I think they're looking for. Despite that, a regular stop.

I saw the reviews for Artango and decided to ignore the negative reviews and give it a chance. Great food and service. I think a lot of the bad reviews were due to the time of night. We made reservations for 5:30pm (early dinner). We got seated immediately, didn't have to wait long for food or drinks. We had empanadas, ceviche, steaks, mashed potatoes and broccolini. I was happy that they had NA beer, after reading a review that they had no NA options. Everything was cooked just fine. We walked out stuffed and happy with the experience. I'll definitely return. It's important to remember that servers are human beings, and you get what you give.
