25 dollars for four pans and it was so stale. Very sad considering it’s the last panaderia in gentrified wicker park

Oh man, these Conchas are awesome! Fresh, soft and sweet. I also got a couple croissants. Highly recommended

Such a great mom and pop Mexican bakery. I loved that it is tucked away in the neighborhood. The price is super affordable. Thr pastries are fresh!!! My pastry was super moist and delicious. I love that nothing is overly sweet here. :)
Definitely check it out if you are in the area!

Baked goods were mediocre. Service was unenthusiastic and slow. Wish the items were labeled.

My favorite place to go for bakery. Everything is fresh, delicious, and best of all, reasonably priced! :)

I have allergies and staff is willing to help you out with that and identify things since nothing is really "labelled" in a way you'd expect now. Never felt it was an issue but something to be aware of!

Terrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs!

I don't usually write negative reviews, but my experience at this bakery was so appalling that I feel compelled to warn others. The customer service here is absolutely non-existent. The staff, including what appeared to be the owner, seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than helping customers. When I finally got her attention, she were rude and dismissive, as if I was bothering her by being there.

To make matters worse, she had her minor child running around the bakery, which is not only unprofessional but also incredibly distracting. The child was noisy, unsupervised, and clearly not meant to be in a work environment. This is a place of business, not a daycare center! The whole atmosphere was chaotic and far from the cozy, welcoming vibe you'd expect from a bakery.

As for the baked goods, they were nothing special. I could have gotten better quality at a supermarket, and for a fraction of the price. Given the poor service and unprofessional environment, I won't be returning and would advise anyone looking for a pleasant bakery experience to steer clear of this place.

This is the best panadería I’ve ever been to and I’ve lived in Pilsen most of my time in Chicago. The coconut macaroon is out of this world

The pastries are spectacular, I always make sure to get 2+ conchas every trip. Artemio on Milwaukee is my favorite bakery in the city of Chicago. The service and atmosphere makes it incredible accessible to anyone, and the prices are highly affordable. If you are doing any shopping in Wicker Park make sure to stop by this bakery.

Today I passed by at 9 in the morning buying bread, the lady who served me was very rude and disrespectful, apart from yelling at me, she started talking about me to the other customers, how sad it makes me that because of people like her One will not recommend that bakery and will NEVER return, train your employees and tell them that above all, education and respect for customers comes first.
