This place is one of the few places that sells pastries for such a reasonable price for how big the pastries are!! All almost less than 5 dollars and they’re so nice. Love them

The customer service was wonderful.
After ordering a tres leches cake for a birthday party we found the cake to be dryer than a Popeyes biscuit. Kids got served first then the adults. The kids immediately started to make a disgusting face, then when the adults tried the cake, we realized that the cake was dry and hard. When we brought up the issue to the shop the staff started to act hostile towards us. We never had an issue from this shop before. We spent over 100$ on a biscuit with frosting.

Great little bakery in Wrigley! The bolillos con queso y jalapeño are awesome. Pillowy bread pockets filled with cheese and jalapeños and they’re only $2.50/each. The perfect way to start the morning. The servers are really nice too.

Really an honestly great bakery to bring family and friends. the cookies and cakes are fantastic, and the people who work there are very hard working and lovely people who deserve more love. No shade, but kinda shade, I hope they put the bakehouse across the street out of business. We need more local and lovely places like this instead of big chains that move into our city or a place like new york or LA or my hometown Detroit and put great people out of business. Thankfully, At least from what I can see in the reviews here, it seems like for now, they’re doing better than the other one!! OH BTW did i mention the affordability? iirc I only paid 2.50$ for a piece of roll cake, and a cookie, totaling just 5$!! Anyways, I’ve talked enough. Please, please please, give this place some love!

Have been walking by this place for over a year before finally stopping in. All of the pastries are incredible and competitively priced. The place is clean and well-kept. My only warning is that once they sell out for the day they don't restock, so the more popular items are likely to be sold out if you come in the evening. Overall highly recommend

Our family has been coming to this bakery for over 30 years, and it continues to be our favorite spot for delicious Mexican pastries. It’s the only place we trust and love when it comes to pan dulce. The quality and taste have always been consistent , fresh, authentic.
The lady at the front counter has been there for as long as we can remember. she’s always been kind and respectful.
100% recommend to anyone looking for real, delicious Mexican baked goods.

What a freaking rude lady. We bought 30 bucks of pasties (only people in the shop) and I left my mom in the store to nibble on them while I grabbed the car down the street. The nasty old bat working the counter told my 80 year old mother to leave and stand outside in 99 heat. Wow. Avoid.

I wish I lived closer bc I would def be a regular. the conchas & cookies at other bakeries are dry & hard but here, they were so soft & moist. 10/10 recommend!
