It was our first time here, my friend living in Chicago and I being the visitor. We randomly chose this place to meet for lunch and it was the best choice. I arrived first and immediately greeted, but I let him know I’m waiting for a friend. I watched the way the man behind the counter interacted with every single customer and I’m sure he knew most, but the way he greeted every single one like it was his friend or family just wowed me. My friend finally came and we ordered our food. I got what shows on the pic and it was super delicious. You can taste the richness in the ingredients. I loved how the owner went around making sure everyone’s food is good and just nice pleasant small talk. I loved the way he joked around with his coworkers and you can tell it’s an overall happy atmosphere. So thank you for the hospitality, the great food and just overall everything :) I highly recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I wanted to carve pumpkins for Halloween. He had gotten one earlier in the week from his work. When we went to get one for me, every single place we went to was sold out. This place had pumpkins out front so we asked if we could have one to carve. The guy there gave us one of the pumpkins! Saved the day! Thank you!
