The ambiance, staff, and food remain exceptional. The surprise birthday celebration was highlighted by the chef. A wonderful experience nestled in an unlikely place. This is my third or fourth visit with consistency over decades.
Dietary restrictions: Let staff know in advance. They were great with the lactose intolerant guest.

The best Thai I have had in my life. I will dream about it. This place is special. I was there with friends but seems like a great spot for a date as well. Warm, intimate atmosphere. The food is a delight to the senses. Will definitely bring friends and family to try it!

We went in April 2023 before our flight out of Chicago. It is more for the Midwestern palate having visited a multitude of Thai restaurants on the East Coast and having quite a few neighborhood spots when I lived on the West Coast. Thai flavors vary by region based on noodles, , rice and curry flavor, etc. There is also a special thai beverage usually offered but again --- midwestern palate so not offered.

Parking: Depending on the time of day and the weather you may have to walk a bit from the free street parking on the main street near the restaurant. I have only ever had to walk less than a block. Knock on wood.

Came for a belated birthday dinner and it did not disappoint! Food was very good and well seasoned. Some kick to some dishes which I prefer :) and the desert was not too sweet which again I prefer. Atmosphere was a nice touch. Definitely recommend trying the food here :)

The Amazing Thai tasting menu took my taste buds on an unforgettable journey through the vibrant and intricate flavors of Thailand. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully capturing the essence of Thai cuisine in a truly remarkable dining experience.

Had wanted to visit here for several years and finally made the trek.Opted for the vegan prix-fixe. Server asked if I ate “salmon and crab” - I said yes. Ended up with scallops, salmon 2 ways and grouper for every plate and was looking forward to the tofu and veggie dishes.Salmon was low quality.Bummer.

Delicious and nice service
Very good but way too expensive
Mixed feelings about this place. We were the only one there at 6pm on a Saturday night!! Food was decent. Were disappointed that we specifically requested high chair when we booked the place and once arrived, they had none without prior notification. It did require a bit of a haul from downtown.
Delicious food and the service was awesome
We got an elaborate explanation of each dish
Beautiful restaurant, very attentive service, food presentation was exemplary but the taste was lacking. We walked in at 8:00 on a Friday night and there were only 2 other tables occupied. We got nervous and I asked my bride if we should abandon ship and sacrifice the required deposit. We stayed. We had the chive dumplings, mussaman curry and the pad thai. Great Thai food is known for balance of the key flavors: salty, sweet, sour, bitter and spicy. The chive dumplings had a nice crispy outer skin and a tender interior. The sauce was peppery and had a nice lingering heat. I liked them, my bride was underwhelmed. The pad thai was uniquely presented, very beautiful. Upon digging into the paper thin egg skin surrounding it we discovered the temperature was luke warm. The flavor was bland. The brightness of amazing thai food was missing. The mussaman curry was beautiful. Presented in a lovely brown sauce topped with fried sweet onions. The meat and potatoes and carrots were tender. You could cut the meat with a spoon. But the curry was just meh. No brightness, no heat. It was nice. We came because this restaurant is in the book 1000 Places to See Before You Die. We were very excited to eat here. We should have sacrificed the deposit and left to eat elsewhere. Perhaps is was a bad night but we were disappointed.
