Very welcoming and fun spot! Gorgeous restaurant! Food was just okay! Got two fried tofu dishes and they were just fine!
We ate here for the first time following the New Years parade in Chinatown ,to celebrate my birthday. The staff was very friendly . We ordered several dishes to try new things as well as appetizers. All of the entrees are large portions and we had enough to eat the next day. The decor and atmosphere was really fun. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Our waitress even brought a slice of birthday dessert. We live an hour away but are in Chicago several times a month , we will definitely return soon. 5 star rating !
I came on a Friday night, it was empty and it took five minutes for someone to notice me.
It does have Hawaiian roadside vibes, but unfortunately I walked after the staff was not informative about the food, and they couldn’t make classic tiki drinks, like the “Scorpion” (and only had two kinds of rum when I tried to assist them).
Sorry first impression are important and I won’t be back.
(Good reviews are likely for food, that’s it. Too bad they didn’t have better informed staff)

so yummy!! i loved the ambiance too and the servers were super kind and welcoming
Food is better in Hawaii for sure, but it’s still tasty and the drinks are strong. The service is really great and I love the interior of the restaurant! Never too busy either.

This was a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and fun drinks. The menu is extensive, but I settled on a spam poke bowl for my entree. It was like spam masubi but in poke bowl format, and all the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. One of my friends had pulled pork and said it was the best she'd ever had, and another friend had a tasty and generous portion of salt and pepper fish. The staff was very friendly and on top of the drinks. We will definitely return if we're in the area again!

I work on museum campus and came here after work one day with coworkers. It's fun tiki vibes inside and they have a loaded menu. I was glad that I browsed the menu before we came because there were a lot of options! The spam masubi was delicious! They had lots of traditional Hawaiian options. The nachos were great too.

Seems food can be bit of a hit or miss as a bunch of other reviews loved it, but neither me nor my partner had a great meal.

I adore this place. I'm vegan/vegetarian, and they have a whole, dedicated vegan menu. I'm so excited to try all of the items on it!! ?
I have a friend with celiacs disease that can eat here because they tag items as GF. The gluten free friend didn't have any reaction to their cooking, so I believe they know what they're doing! We did let them know ahead of time, and the server was able to reassure us and pick some great options. ?
Their tiki drinks are also very fun and strong, so the higher price makes more sense to me for the area compared to other restaurants.?
I recommend the edemame, kimchi cucumber, sushi burrito, pad Thai, Thai curry, pad kee mao, and nasi goreng

Went here with my family and enjoyed every bit of it. The atmosphere was great and the service even better. If you dont know what to get the person serving you will certainly help you pick something delicious. Those Hawaiian Pulehu Beef Shortribs were so good i forgot to take a photo of it as well as the nacho plate tha was the perfect starter. The drinks were also good the emperors lagoon and if you say you cant pronounce that one drink you see they'll most likely know what you mean lol. Great time and we'll definitely be comin back. Left happy and full
