When I go to a hawaiian themed resto, my go-to is the classic and ubiquitous loco moco.

Its a simple dish of hamburger patties over a bed of rice. Served with sauteed or grilled onions and liberally covered with peppery flavorful brown gravy. Finally its topped with fried eggs (I prefer over-easy but traditionally its sunny-side up).

This was a very good rendition of loco moco far from the island. But there was too much gravy for my liking;...
Truly lives up to its name, it’s a real hideout! I’ve driven past this place so many times and never noticed it. Once inside, the decor was on point and the whole vibe was perfect. We came for a friend’s birthday and she absolutely loved it.

The drinks were on point, the food came out super fast, and the portions were generous enough that we had to take leftovers home (no complaints there 😄). Our server was very attentive. I wish I remembered her name,...
Great selection of Polynesian/Asian food. The tropical drinks spot on and strong. The place has a laid-back, casual, tiki statue kitsch type of feel. A great place for drinking and conversation with big portions.
