We ate here for the first time following the New Years parade in Chinatown ,to celebrate my birthday. The staff was very friendly . We ordered several dishes to try new things as well as appetizers. All of the entrees are large portions and we had enough to eat the next day. The decor and atmosphere was really fun. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Our waitress even brought a slice of birthday dessert. We live an hour away but are in Chicago several times a month ,...
I came on a Friday night, it was empty and it took five minutes for someone to notice me.
It does have Hawaiian roadside vibes, but unfortunately I walked after the staff was not informative about the food, and they couldn’t make classic tiki drinks, like the “Scorpion” (and only had two kinds of rum when I tried to assist them).
Sorry first impression are important and I won’t be back.

This was a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and fun drinks. The menu is extensive, but I settled on a spam poke bowl for my entree. It was like spam masubi but in poke bowl format, and all the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. One of my friends had pulled pork and said it was the best she'd ever had, and another friend had a tasty and generous portion of salt and pepper fish. The staff was very friendly and on top of the drinks. We will definitely return...
