The service was very slow. After returning stale bread three times, the waiter finally offered us pita at no cost. The waiter didn't explain that the saganaki couldn't be flamed when we ordered it. It couldn't be flamed apparently as the windows were open, and the draft would be hazardous. Large servings. Moussaka tasted mostly of potato and the "roast potatoes" with the dolmades weren't browned. Not your Ya-Ya's cooking. The restaurant itself...

We have dined at Athena Restaurant on several occasions and are always very happy with our overall experience. The waiters are attentive but not overwhelming. They have always allowed us to enjoy a leisurely meal which we appreciate. The food is top notch and we would strongly recommend anyone looking for Greek food to give this restaurant a try.

First of all, our server was incredible. He was attentive, friendly & was overall fantastic. Athena is our “go to” Greek restaurant. Always great food, great service & a great time.
